VALORANT Episode 3 Act 3: Upcoming Agent Changes, New Map Leaks And More Details


VALORANT Episode 3 Act 3 is barely a couple of weeks away, and the community is looking forward to some massive changes in the Agent pool.

As reported earlier, a new Sentinel Agent, codenamed Deadeye, will arrive at the beginning of Act 3. At the same time, fans can expect Agents like Yoru, Sage, Jett, and Cypher will be tweaked in the next act.

Patch 3.07 and 3.08 were aimed at fixing the current state of the game, and it's highly unlikely that Riot will make any changes to the game's core mechanics before the VALORANT Champions 2021!

VALORANT Episode 3 Act 3 - New Agent

Considering all the major leaks surrounding the new Agent 17, fans can expect that Deadeye will arrive with the next Act. Riot developers hinted that the next Agent will focus on mechanical outplays, which means Deadeye may have abilities like KAY/O.

In the recent content drops on Fracture, community experts have discovered that Deadeye's real name is Vincent Fabron. According to some of the voice lines played on Fracture, Deadeye might be an assassin for hire.

Upcoming Agent Changes

Patch 3.08 was supposed to bring some major buffs for Omen. However, that did not come to pass and fans are wondering whether the next update will address the state of controllers in the game.

Similarly, Yoru is another Agent who might get some massive changes in Episode 3 Act 3. Fans were quite vocal about Yoru's integration in the Agents meta, and it seems likely that Riot will deliver a reworked kit for the Japanese Duelist.

On the other hand, the community is split on whether Jett should get any changes in the next Act. Recent nerfs for Jett's ultimate ability and cloudburst has definitely increased the skill cap for this Duelist.

It will be interesting to see how Riot implements further changes to Jett's utilities in the upcoming updates.

Is A New Map Arriving In VALORANT Episode 4 Act 1?

According to recent leaks, fans may get to see the 8th map in VALORANT Episode 4 Act 1. The developers hinted at this in one of the recent official blog posts. They mentioned that the next map will focus on close-quarters-combat, and that content drops on Fracture will reveal more about map 8.

Community expert Cynprel, explained in a video that map 8 might be designed after geo-dome. This geo-dome will encompass around a specific location like every other map in VALORANT. Experts are claiming that map 8 will be located in Bahia, Brazil - otherwise known as Raze's home in the VALORANT universe.
