We'll get a new character to add to our Apex Legends tier list - Titanfall 2 fans will remember Ash - but after Seer came in so strong, we're not sure if we're ready just yet. They might just be in luck.

Apex Legends Season 11 Latest News

Here's the latest news and rumours regarding Apex Legends Season 11:

1 November - Battle Pass Trailer Now Live

Here's the Season 11 Battle Pass trailer, which shows off a bunch of Legend and weapon skins you can unlock over the course of the season:

28 October - Respawn Promises to "Double Down" on Resolving New Season Connection Issues

Respawn issued a statement saying that it is focusing on improving the connection issues and lag that often comes with a new season. Here's the statement in full, thanks to Dexerto:

“We’ve been doubling down on our efforts to resolve the connections issues and intermittent lag that some players may experience at different times and regions around the world,” says Respawn.

“We’ve been expanding our dedicated server teams at Respawn, creating new ways for us to see, predict, and respond to potential bandwidth issues, and implementing new ways that we can make the back end of a technically massive game like Apex require less bandwidth.”

25 October - Apex Legends Escape Gameplay Trailer

The Apex Legends Escape gameplay trailer has shed some more light on what to expect from Season 11. Watch it here:

With gravity cannons to yeet yourself out of and impassable water, the map changes some fundamental aspects of how Apex Legends is played. With choke points galore it looks to be the opposite of Olympus, which is incredibly open, so positioning will be key to earning victory.

We also might have spotted a Wattson buff in there, regarding fences and Tridents...

21 October - Apex Legends Escape Launch Trailer

Here's the Apex Legends Escape launch trailer:

As you can see, we've got a slice of lore with Bangalore's brother, a look at the new Legend, Ash, and a cinematic version of her abilities, all set on the new map, Storm Point. There's also a couple of hints about the CAR SMG, too. Oh, and it's all set to a banging Bob Marley tune, too!

18 October - New Stories From The Outlands Trailer

[5PM] - Ash has been revealed in all her glory along with an official name for the new season: Escape.

In addition to the excellent new trailer we've witnessed (below) the Apex website has also been updated with some new key art of the latest legend to join the games, as well as information on a new weapon: The C.A.R. SMG.

We've also got a look at the new Battle Pass Icon, which certainly hints at a more tropical setting.

Lastly, be sure to tune in on Thursday for the official launch trailer!

[9AM] -We've lined up the trailer for you, so all you need to do is hit play at 4pm BST. We suspect the trailer will likely focus on the new character 'Ash' most prominently, but we might get some Season 11 teasers thrown in too. Either way, we suspect this could be a trailer you do not want to miss.

17 October - New Stories From The Outlands Tease

The next stories from the outlands trailer has been announced and fans dont have long to wait. It airs on October 18, 8am PST, which is 4pm BST in the UK.

For those curious, the numbers mentioned on the official tweet, it appears to be related to the Ash "Wake Up" codes first teased in Season 5's Broken Ghost quest. You can see examples of this on this tweet from @shrugtal.

15 October - First Map Teaser Is Live

The first teaser for Apex Legends new map is now live on Olympus but it's not exactly the most exciting of updates thus far.

You can see for yourself on the below tweet from Shrugtal, but in short, the laptop screens now show a message that reads "Downloading Feed..." before making reference to an IMC manifest that includes the names of Bangalore and her brother.

We've another teaser coming on Saturday 16th October (tomorrow) so hopefully, that is a bit more exciting.

14 October - New Map Teasers Today

Our first map teaser should hopefully appear at some point later today on Olympus inside the Parachute Pod located between Powerstation East and the Welcome Center. We could potentially see a new message appearing on the laptop inside the pod, which up until now has simply displayed a “contacting origin ship” message.

13 October 2021 - New Ash Lore Drop

We should be getting our first proper teaser for Season 11 tomorrow (October 14), but Respawn has already sneakily released a new comic strip just before the launch of the Monsters Within Event.

Surprisingly the comic strip contains a healthy dollop of lore related to Ash, who whilst not confirmed to be the new Legend for Season 11, does seem our most likely candidate.

Rather than showing you the comic itself (which you can see on Apex's Twitter account on the link), instead have a watch of this new video from Garret, who summarises the content in a handy bite-sized video for fans. Enjoy!

11 October 2021 - Season 11 Teaser Coming This Week

Although the big news this week is the launch of Apex Legends Monsters Within Event, but it's worth remembering we should see our first Season 11 Teaser on October 14, which is this coming Thursday.

More Apex Legends Season 11 Teasers Due Soon

According to dataminer KralRindo, more teasers for Apex Legends Season 11 will be dropping in October. Here are the dates of the teasers:

  • October 14
  • October 16
  • October 18
  • October 20

This appears to be during the Apex Legends Monsters Within event, but we'll keep you updated with what the teasers are and what map they're appearing on.

Season 11 Teasers Live On Olympus

The first Season 11 teaser is live! A small craft has appeared in the North East corner of Olympus. Despite looking like something from Red Dwarf, it could have huge lore repercussions. We know that Bloodhound is getting a lore event in Season 10, but it looks like Bangalore could be in for some lore, too. Here's where the craft is located:

Bangalore has a new voice line regarding the craft, which bears plenty of IMC logos. Chances are this could pertain to her brother, who went MIA while fighting for the IMC.

"Huh. This looks like... no. No way. Can't be," she says.

An orange, spherical space ship has landed neatly in the green fields of Apex Legends' Olympus map.

As Shrugtal points out, the screens in the ship could provide us with the future Season 11 teasers, as this craft tries to connect with its mothership - which is potentially on Gaea, where the new map is probably set.

Bangalore mains (that includes you, Shiv), you're in for a treat next season!

Apex Legends Loba Edition

Every season brings a new edition of Apex Legends. Aimed at new players, these editions offer a handful of exclusive cosmetics to kickstart your game. Take a look at her secret agent-themed 'Arms Dealer' skin, courtesy of dataminer Shrugtal:

Here's a short video of everything you get in the package, too:

ALGS Year 2

The Apex Legends Global Series Year 2 begins during Season 10, but continues through to Season 11, so any changes to the battle royale will impact the esports scene.

EA has already started a search for the next ALGS broadcaster, but as Year 2 qualification kicks off soon we'll have much more news to bring you on this front.

New Heirloom

With Rampart receiving the most recent Apex Legends heirloom during her Town Takeover event, the recipient of Season 11's heirloom is still up in the air.

While many believed Crypto was next in line for an heirloom (and concepts suggest he could be getting a cool Jikdo sword), it now looks like Wattson could be next in line. Both characters could do with a little buff to take him off the bottom of our tier list, so we'd like to see an heirloom come along with a rework.

Tap Strafing Removed

Tap strafing was a high-level movement technique that the best players could utilise when playing with mouse and keyboard. It was an unintended feature of Apex Legends since day one, but developer Respawn has finally decided that enough is enough.

However, pro players and streamers are not happy with the change. Even Nick 'NICKMERCS' Kolcheff, a newbie on the Apex Legends scene, had words to say about the change despite the fact it would hardly affect him as he plays on controller.

The patch will also fix the game's most annoying shield swap bug, so keep your eyes on the Apex Legends patch notes to see when it drops.

Apex Legends Season 11 Release Date

Apex Legends Season 11 releases on November 2. This is based on an estimation of when Season 10 will finish, and is of course subject to change.

It also gives you plenty of time to level up your Battle Pass and finish your business with Season 10 before the new season is upon us.

Apex Legends Season 11 New Legend

As we get close to the Season 11 release date, it looks increasingly likely that Ash will be entering the Apex Games. Yes, that Ash, from Titanfall 2 and Arenas.

The next character in Apex Legends, Ash, was leaked by dataminer Garret. She has Holosprays and abilities in the game files - and has now been confirmed with a Stories from the Outlands lore trailer.

Her abilities are yet to be officially confirmed, but we've covered the leaks in the main Ash guide to give you an idea of what she'll be - think a combination of Wraith, Bloodhound, and Wattson. No, seriously.

Apex Legends Season 11 may launch with a new map that looks like this: a building overran with cherry blossom trees from Titanfall 2.

New Map

We're getting a new map in Season 11! It's called Storm Point and features water, wildlife, and choke points galore. If you don't like the constant third parties of Olympus, then this could be the perfect antidote.

From muddy Tridents to AI wildlife and clifftop sounds, an island getaway sounds like what we all need in Season 11. Check out our Apex Legends new map guide for all the information, datamines, and leaked art from Storm Point.

New Weapon

Season 10 gave us the Prowler back as floor loot and the Rampage LMG was added to the game, but another SMG is on the agenda this time around.

Apex Legends' Cryo Grenade won't arrive just yet by the looks of things, but the CAR SMG is on the way. There's still debate over what ammo it will use and what role it will play, but it was pretty broken in Titanfall 2 so we're expecting big things.

Will the R-301 Be Put in the Care Package?

Rumours are currently flying about the R-301. The trusty Assault Rifle has been a staple of the Apex Legends meta since day one, and ranks highly on our tier list of the game's best guns.

However, we've not had any official word on this rumour and the dataminers and leakers are keeping quiet, too. Keep your eyes on this one, as it is still developing.

Apex Legends Season 11 Leaks

New Battle Pass System?

Back in May, EA filed a patent for a new type of Battle Pass, one which has multiple routes and options to choose your rewards. This "non-linear map" was first reported by VG247, and could potentially see use in Apex Legends, as one of EA's premier live service games.

The Battle Pass itself could have a jungle theme to match the new map, but we'll have to wait until nearer the time to find out more.

That's everything we know about Apex Legends Season 11 so far. Keep checking back for the latest news.
