Valorant Episode 3 Act 2 Battle Pass

The developers plant numerous clues in the Battle Pass for players to get an idea of what's coming. In the current Battle Pass for Episode 3 Act 1, players will notice several images that suggest what Act 2 will look like.

For instance, players can notice some of the player cards in the battle pass. While most of them have a recognizable image, some feature areas we have never seen in Valorant.

The first one being the Naked OP card, players haven't seen the sculpture before on any of the maps. Similarly, the Testing Grounds card is another unique one.

According to several experts, these two cards foreshadow what's about to come in Episode 3 Act 2.

These clues hint at the fact that a new map might arrive with the next patch update for Valorant.

Is a new Map coming in Valorant Episode 3 Act 2?

All the leaks and teasers leading up to this point have hinted at a new map coming to Valorant in Episode 3 Act 2. The codename Canyon was discovered by data-miners attached to a new game file.

Following this, the official Valorant Twitter channel released a photo for the community to decode.

Fans believe that this image is a teaser for the next map. The image itself was shown before in the Valorant One Year Anthem. Experts believe that this map will represent Skye's homeland in the game.

These were the words added in the image teaser for the next map -

  • Entzweite Weiten - This is a German phrase with multiple interpretations. Described to divide or set people against each other. (Weiten), as far as width goes or to widen/stretch.
  • Futuros Revelados - This is a Portuguese phrase interpreted as "futures revealed".
  • According to community experts, the Chinese text at the top of the image references “kingdom".

These clues point to the fact that a new map is coming to Valorant Episode 3 Act 2. Fans are convinced that this new map will be smaller than others, and will encourage close-quarters combat.

There is a huge possibility that the new map may also bring a new Agent, but fans will have to wait till 8th September to find out,

Is a New Valorant Agent coming in Episode 3 Act 2?

Based on all the leaks, a new Agent might join the game with the next Act. The recent information surrounding Deadeye sounds incredibly plausible as most of it was teased by the developers.

The concept art for a new Agent was featured in the One Year Anthem as well. This leads fans to believe that Episode 3 Act 2 will bring a new map and a new agent to the game.

Similarly, there have been other leaks surrounding another codename, Sprinter. However, there is not much to go on besides these codenames.

Although KAY/O was introduced in Valorant Episode 3 Act 1, several players feel that the devs may not add another agent anytime soon.

However, that has not discouraged character designers, artists and theorists to come up with some creative additions.

According to several experts, Lola is a new agent concept that was added to artstation recently. The artist provides a comprehensive guide to Lola's abilities, and it deals with the art of faking.

From fake spike plant to automated defuse, this concept agent has everything players can ask for.

Similarly, several concept agents and ideas which are present in artstation might hint at the new agent. However, Riot Games has not officially made any statements about these concepts.

As for when the next new agent is coming to the game, only time will tell!
