How to upgrade your house in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Unfortunately, you have to do a handful of short quests before you can upgrade your house. This being said, save any coins you come across until they are done. These will come in handy later.
You have to find Scrooge McDuck at his store and take on his quests to unlock your house upgrade. This will require you to invest in his shop to get it up and running. Grab your friend with this skill, mine all of the rocks around an area, go back inside to reset the map and restore stamina, then go out and farm them again. After a while, you should have tonnes of gemstones ready to sell to Goofy.
