In Far Cry 6, it's advisable to make use of all the facilities and equipment that are available to you across Yara. Once you enter the region of Madrugada, you'll soon build a Guerrilla Camp at Montero Farm. Once built, you can then speak to the Foreman at the Construction Desk to build facilities that will aid you as a guerrilla fighter. These facilities contain everything you need to take down Anton Castillo and his counterparts.

In this guide, we explain the six camp facilities, how to build and upgrade them, and how best to use them in Far Cry 6.

How To Unlock the Hideout Network

The Far Cry 6 Hideout Network facility and its corresponding leader, Chief Scout.

The Hideout Network is where you can speak to the Chief Scout to build Hideout Locations across the three main regions of Yara: Madrugada, Valle De Oro, and El Este. These locations are safe hideouts monitored by other guerrilla fighters. You can fast travel to them to be closer to an Operation or Yaran Story, use their workbenches, loot them of resources and use the vehicles they often have to hand too.

To build and upgrade the Hideout Network, you will require the following resources:

Base

  • 30 Metal
  • 30 Gasolina

Enhanced Base

  • 60 Metal
  • 60 Gasolina

The Enhanced Base will have vehicles available by each Hideout Location, and a Supply Cache that refreshes daily.

Perfected Base

  • 90 Metal
  • 90 Gasolina

The Perfected Base will have a Supply Cache of higher value, and your Supremo will instantly recharge upon entry into the Hideout Location.

How To Unlock the Guerrilla Garrison

By speaking with the Drill Instructor at the Guerrilla Garrison facility, you will be able to purchase new weaponry and your fellow guerrilla fighters will have better training too. This will not only aid them but will aid you as they accompany you to take down Castillo's soldiers.

Additionally, the Guerrilla Garrison provides Recon Laptops at Hideout Locations will help to scout out various FND Bases that you can capture for XP, loot, and FND Caches that may contain Gunpowder or Unique Weapons. With this in mind, we recommend building both the Hideout Network and Guerrilla Garrison first.

To build and upgrade the Guerrilla Garrison, you will require the following resources:

Base

  • 60 Metal
  • 60 Gasolina

Enhanced Base

  • 140 Metal
  • 140 Gasolina

The Enhanced Base will have advanced weapons, better-trained guerrilla fighters at your disposal, and support from guerrilla snipers across Yara.

Perfected Base

  • 220 Metal
  • 220 Gasolina

The Perfected Base will have specialist weapons, guerrilla fighters trained to take on FND forces, and support from guerrilla rocketeers across Yara.

How To Unlock the Fishing Hut

By talking to the Pro Angler at the Fishing Hut, you can purchase brochures that will point out new fishing spots on your map, and get the Fishing Gear set. Gathering fish meat is a valuable way of gathering resources or cooked food; but since you'll find many fishing spots naturally and can fish without the necessary gear, we recommend making this facility one of your final priorities.

To build and upgrade the Fishing Hut, you will require the following resources:

Base

  • 40 Medicine
  • 40 Gasolina

Enhanced Base

  • 110 Medicine
  • 110 Gasolina

The Enhanced Base will have fishing brochures that reveal hard fishing spots, new gear, and new bait.

Perfected Base

  • 200 Medicine
  • 200 Gasolina

The Perfected Base will have fishing brochures that reveal extreme-difficulty fishing spots, more gear, and you will be granted the ability to fish using bullets without damaging their meat.

How To Unlock the La Cantina

By speaking with the Camp Chef at the La Cantina facility, you can use the meat harvested from hunting animals to have cuisine made for you. These meals will provide you with temporary status effects that can aid you in your next battle, such as improved damage or defence from fire. Much of what you do in Yara can be done solely using the right weapons and gear, so we recommend building this at a later point in your game, when the temporary perks will truly become useful.

To build and upgrade the La Cantina, you will require the following resources:

Base

  • 30 Medicine
  • 30 Gasolina

Enhanced Base

  • 80 Medicine
  • 80 Gasolina

The Enhanced Base will have 5 more recipes available, with perks such as increased stealth damage, health regeneration, and gadget capacity.

Perfected Base

  • 160 Medicine
  • 160 Gasolina

The Perfected Base will have an additional 5 recipes available, all of which have their own useful perks for hunting, swimming, and sniping.

How To Unlock the Bandidos Barracks

Los Bandidos Operations are a great way to gather resources, and having the Bandidos Barracks available is a great way to have more fighters on your side. As well as this, speaking with the Bandido Recruiter offers you a wide range of gear, so you can be well-equipped for each Operation you go on. If you're not utilising the Los Bandidos Operations right away, however, then we recommend you save building this facility for one of your later Guerrilla Camps.

To build and upgrade the Bandidos Barracks, you will require the following resources:

Base

  • 60 Medicine
  • 60 Metal

Enhanced Base

  • 140 Medicine
  • 140 Metal

The Enhanced Base will have advanced gear available, will make it so that rescuing hostages and defacing propaganda provides you with more Bandidos recruits, and all Squad Orders will have a higher chance of being successful.

Perfected Base

  • 220 Medicine
  • 220 Metal

The Perfected Base will have specialist gear available, completing Lola's Special Operations grants you more Bandidos recruits, all Squad Orders have an even higher chance of success than before, and you'll get the Bandido Recruiter bonus. This bonus means that talking to specific NPC's will gain you recruits for Bandidos Operations too.

How To Unlock the Hunter's Lodge

By talking with the Huntmaster at the Hunter's Lodge, you'll be able to gather brochures for hunting spots, the best hunting gear, and eventually, permanent perks that'll assist you with hunting. If taking down animals in order to gather resources is more your thing than looting, this is a must-have during your time in Yara.

To build and upgrade the Hunter's Lodge, you will require the following resources:

Base

  • 40 Medicine
  • 40 Metal

Enhanced Base

  • 110 Medicine
  • 110 Metal

The Enhanced Base will have more animal hunting spot brochures, the Ciervo Macho (a hunting shotgun), and the ability to gain extra meat from animal hunting.

Perfected Base

  • 200 Medicine
  • 200 Metal

The Perfected Base will have more animal hunting spot brochures, including Mythical Animals. It will also have the El Depredador, a hunting rifle, and provides the ability to hunt using bullets without damaging animal meat, and now arrows and gadgets will do more damage to animals.

Now that you know how each camp facility functions, it's time for you to get them built and upgraded! With these facilities at your disposal, you will always have the right weapons and gear for the operations ahead of you. You'll only be able to build two facilities per camp, however, so be sure to prioritise the most important facilities to your gameplay first.
