Valorant Episode 3: Everything We Know About The New Agent 16


With only a few days to go before Episode 3, Riot Games have officially added some teasers about Agent 16 in Valorant. Recently, data miners took to Twitter to reveal discuss these teasers added by the developers.

The new Agent 16 is speculated to have abilities that will hack other Agents. This might create instances in-game where players have to rely entirely on their aiming and gunplay.

Compiling all the leaks surrounding the new Agent paints a clear picture of what Valorant players can expect. Here is everything we know so far about Agent 16 coming in Valorant Episode 3.

Valorant: Leaks surrounding upcoming Agent 16

Popular data miners and content creators took to social media to reveal details about Valorant's upcoming Agent. It is speculated that her kit is going to revolve around disabling other Agents.

Multiple sources have reported on social media about the name for Agent 16. While some are calling her "Nora", others are sticking to the codename "Grenadier" which was found in the game files.

A fan-made concept artwork was circulated on social media as well, and it gave fans the first look at this new Agent 16. However, this information needs to be taken with a grain of salt, as Riot Games have not officially revealed how the Agent would look in-game.

Data miner @ValorLeaks also leaked that Agent 16 will have suppression abilities, which might focus entirely on countering opponents.

Official Information from Riot Games

Riot Games gave a small teaser to hype up the fans before Agent 16 is officially released with Episode 3 in Valorant. In their latest State Of Agents blog, the developers mentioned the following:

"This time around we are throwing in some abilities that should feel familiar to folks who’ve played traditional FPS games their whole lives, but with added elements that will make those recognizable abilities unique within our roster. This is an Agent who’s utility can create moments where you must rely on your gunplay."

This was followed up with a distinct teaser which players noticed in-game after the 2.11 update.

A dagger was found on the map Breeze which looked different from Jett's knives. At the same time, the teleporter at Breeze shined with bright lights, hinting at the imminent arrival of Agent 16 in Valorant.

Interestingly, players noticed that the dagger had electric sparks coming out of it, and had a strange noise in the peripheral area. This hints at Agent 16's in-game abilities.

With all these leaks and official information, players can expect that Agent 16 will be the perfect combination between a duelist and a sentinel. That being said, fans cannot wait for Episode 3 of Valorant, which is scheduled to start on June 22, 2021.
