Valorant Update 2.11: New Weapon Prices And Agent Balances

Valorant update v2.11 is scheduled to come out today (8th June 2021) and fans can expect some massive changes.

To start off, Riot Games might introduce some balance changes to certain agents, as discussed in their previous State Of Agents blog post.

Similarly, players can expect that some of the maps might get small design updates. Breeze and Bind might get some remodeling, but there is no confirmation about this.

Simultaneously, players can expect that some of the weapons will be reworked in terms of economy and balance. This will facilitate a new meta going forward, and it's certainly a change the community has been waiting for.

Finally, the anonymous Agent 16 might be introduced at the beginning of Episode 3 in Valorant. Fans can't wait to see what this new Agent will bring to the ability pool.

Valorant v2.11 update - Weapon changes

In terms of weapon changes, popular data miner @ValorLeaks posted a list on Twitter. It featured the new pricing for all these weapons in the game.

These new economic changes for Valorant weapons might be included in the official patch notes for the v2.11 update. However, fans are advised to take this information with a grain of salt.

Here is a list of all the new prices for the weapons:

  • Operator - from 5000 to 4700
  • Judge - from 1600 to 1850
  • Frenzy - from 500 to 450
  • Stinger - from 1100 to 950
  • Bucky - from 900 to 850
  • Bulldog - from 1100 to 1050
  • Guardian - from 2400 to 2250
  • Marshall - from 1000 to 950
  • Ares - from 1600 to 1550

These pricing changes will not only facilitate a new meta but also help Agents with expensive abilities.

For instance, players using Operators can now have the assurance of not ruining their econ if they lose the round.

Similarly, the new price of Frenzy will encourage players to select the auto-firing revolver in pistol rounds.

Sniper enthusiasts will have a good time in Episode 3 as both the Operator and Marshall might get a price drop in-game.

As for Shotgun spammers, the Judge will get a significant price hike, and this will definitely affect the meta. Players using agents with high mobility prefer using the Judge over Bucky.

Predicted Agent Changes

Yoru is speculated to get a major buff in Valorant Episode 3. His Fakeout ability might be reworked, and it might feature a better version of footsteps.

Besides that, three other Agents might get balanced changes. Breach and Skye will get a nerf which will remove their ability to dish out three consecutive flashes.

Similarly, for Breach, the developers might introduce powerful changes to his kit. This will change the way Breach is used in Valorant, as his current utility restricts the agent.

As for Astra, she is definitely getting a nerf with all the upcoming changes. Astra is undoubtedly one of the strongest agents in the game right now. With very little to counter her utility, Riot plans to add some changes that will help opponents against Astra mains.

The developers mentioned that these changes might be added in patch 3.0 or 3.02. Hopefully, we will get to know more when the update goes live in Valorant!
