Looking for the best Genshin Impact Sayu build? There are plenty of weapons and artifacts that suit the pint-sized claymore-wielder, making the most out of her Yoohoo ninja arts and mobility. Her Muji-Muji Daruma is especially powerful, offering healing similar to Bennett's Fantastic Voyage or elemental attacks like Xiangling's Guoba.
That's not even mentioning that her elemental skill lets her turn into a ball of spinning Anemo death that can roll around the battlefield, smashing into enemies and absorbing elements. So what are the best Genshin Impact Sayu builds? We've put together a couple to help you make the most out of this napping ninja.

How Do I Get Sayu in Genshin Impact?
Sayu will be obtainable by spending wishes in the Event Banner, called “Tapestry of Golden Flames”, which will feature her alongside another new character, Yoimiya, up until August 31. Only four days remain, so good luck obtaining her!
What Are the Best Sayu Builds?
Sayu is able to heal and deal Anemo Damage using her Burst Skill, and her build must make use of those Anemo capabilities to debuff enemies while being able to support the rest of the party as a healer.
Below is the best Sayu build right now. You can keep reading to find out the precise thinking behind this specific Sayu build, but if you've used her before, you'll quickly understand why we've chosen these weapons and artifacts.
|Role||Best Weapon||Alternative Weapon||Best Artifacts||Alternative Artifacts|
|Anemo Support Build||Skyward Pride||Favonius Greatsword||Viridescent Venerer (4 Pieces) or Noblesse Oblige (4 Pieces)||Viridescent Venerer (2 Pieces) & Noblesse Oblige (2 Pieces) or Gladiator's Finale (2 Pieces)|
Anemo Support Build
The idea of this build is to make Sayu a great Sub DPS, which at the same time will help her to be a better Healer who is capable of triggering great Swirl Reactions. Since Sayu's Elemental Burst healing values scale with her Attack, Skyward Pride is the best option by far. However, if you’re struggling to get this weapon, the Favonius Greatsword goes really well too.
On the artifact side, Viridescent Venerer and its Anemo damage boost makes it the best option, it can also be tricky to get your hands on that set, so a 2-2 combo of Gladiator's Finale and Noblesse Oblige will serve as a more affordable set more than fine.
What Are the Best Team Comps for Sayu?
Sayu works great as a Sub-DPS/Support unit, and since she can interact really well with other Elements and even trigger Swirl, you should pair her with units that support that, such as Ganyu, Mona, or Bennett.
What Are the Best Weapons for Sayu?
Weapons like the Skyward Pride or Favonius Greatsword that boost Energy Recharge are the only real good options for this build. You can also find a more affordable and equally good alternative in the form of the Prototype Archaic or Katsuragikiri Nagamasa if you’re looking for a craftable option and you still don’t have any of the former.
|Weapon||Rarity||Stats||Skills||How to Obtain|
|Skyward Pride||5-Star||Energy Recharge||Sky-ripping Dragon Spine: Increases all damage dealt by +8%. After activating Elemental Burst, normal and charge attacks unleashes a blade that does 80% of Attack Damage to opponents. The blade lasts 20 seconds or 8 times.||Wishes|
|Favonius Greatsword||4-Star||Energy Recharge||Windfall: Critical Hits have a 60% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 12 seconds.||Wishes|
|Katsuragikiri Nagamasa||4-Star||Energy Recharge||Samurai Conduct: Increases Elemental Skill Damage by 6%. After Elemental Skill hits an opponent, the character loses 3 Energy but regenerates 3 Energy every 2 seconds for the next 6 seconds. Effect can occur once every 10 seconds. Can also be triggered even when the character is not on the field.||Crafting|
|Prototype Archaic||4-Star||Attack||Crush: On hit, Normal and Charged Attacks have a 50% chance to deal an additional 240% Attack Damage to opponents within a small AoE. Can only occur once every 15 seconds.||Crafting|
