While some GTA Online players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer by getting up to wacky hijinks and spending all of their hard-earned cash.

After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what or who it should include, and have given up agonising over how you’ll earn back your current fortune if the new game includes tax mechanics, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?

In the case of some GTA players, this enjoyment is coming from a spot of hardcore roleplaying or a last ditch attempt to unlock an item that requires a lot of grinding, but for others, it seems as though their focus has shifted to pulling off some of the sickest stunts Los Santos has ever seen.

What’s the sickest skydiving stunt you’ve ever pulled off in GTA Online?

One such feat is the topic of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from user civoksark, who lived up to their nickname of ‘The Flying Squirrel’ by sharing a clip of them successfully skydiving through a tiny gap in the porch of the Marlowe Vineyard’s main building, before pulling their parachute just in time to avoid a messy landing.

Naturally, their fellow GTA stans were left pretty awestruck by the exploit, with user Curvaceous420 declaring civoksark to be a pretty smooth operator and TheRealScubaSteve86 adding: “You deserve a glass of wine after that!”

Others were curious about the amount of effort that had gone into getting the stunt to go as planned, prompting civoksark to reveal that years of practice with similar stunts had meant that they only suffered a couple of failed attempts, adding: “(The) hardest thing was to figure (out) the angle of approach so I wouldn't hit the house or the pillar.”

They also shared that they often have to try firing an RPG through a prospective gap before attempting to fly through it, in order to avoid crashing head first into an invisible wall and ending up in hospital.

Meanwhile, user Kill_4209 wasn’t very confident in their own ability to nail such a stunt if they were to try it, lamenting: “I can hardly land in a desert without crashing into some random cactus or rock or telephone pole.”
