While some GTA Online players are already looking forward to GTA 6’s eventual arrival, others are still trying to quickly grind up enough cash to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer.

Though this can be a tough task if you’re more of a casual GTA player or a complete newbie, the game’s hardened veterans have gotten very good at rapidly blazing through heists or sales missions in order to boost their in-game bottom lines.

Countless examples of this can be found in a recent Reddit thread, which saw some of these seasoned criminals get together to swap their fastest Cayo Perico heist completion times.

How quickly have you managed to rob El Rubio?

The thread in question on the GTA Online subreddit, began with a post from wonderfully-named user Epic_Gamer05, who posted a screenshot of their six minute and 40 second run and asked: “What is Your Fastest Cayo Perico Time?”

The response to their inquiry saw a host of players offer their fastest times, with user nopestillgotit saying: “Eight minutes on the dot. Could be the route I take (slowing me down), but it’s quick and clean and I've never gotten caught doing it.” and Jjzeng adding: “I had to scroll all the way back to January 2021 to find the screenshot, but I hit a 6 minute 46 second run which I believe was the fastest I ever did it.”

On the other hand, user -DemigodFoxtrot pointed out: “(The current) world record is 2 minutes 54 seconds, you can check it out on YouTube, it's quite amazing.”, leading JonnyDIzNice to respond: “My fastest is 30 seconds, I just forgot to hit record.”

This claim prompted some more interesting responses, with user SnoaH_ joking: “It’s true, I’m Pavel” and KyeMS adding: “Can confirm, I'm one of the concrete bushes he drove past before escaping the compound.”

Meanwhile, user xztone shared a slightly more relatable run, simply saying: “two hours”, to which madeformarch replied: “I remember my first time.”

Regardless of how many Cayo runs you can do in a couple of hours, make sure to follow us for more GTA Online and GTA 6 updates as new vehicles and more arrive.
