GTA Online player argues owning a Nightclub is currently "an amazing source of passive income"

While a massive amount of GTA Online players have dedicated themselves to the grind, with the goal of becoming a massively wealthy billionaire that can spend at will, there’s still some debate over which money-making method these ambitious criminals should prioritise.

After all, with daring heists, dangerous sales missions and unpredictable casino sessions all available to dedicated crews looking to boost their in-game bottom line, allocating the right amount of time to each is pretty impossible.

However, one player on Reddit believes there’s only one business that these grinders should be concentrating on right now, arguing that, following the latest update, GTA Online’s nightclubs are the places to be.

How much money has your nightclub made you recently?

Their economic theory is the subject of a recent thread in the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from the player in question, who shared an image of their nightclub earnings, which have almost hit 6 million in a very short time, arguing that Los Santos’ party spots “are an amazing source of passive income” and advising others to: “Get a nightclub if you haven't already."

Many of their fellow players already seem to have cottoned on to this idea, with user seeyzjayt saying: “I'm a beginner, around lvl 34, and with a nightclub I bought I managed to buy a Kosatka, an Oppressor, and I'm almost (able to) buy an arcade now.” and luigi_b0red adding: “I have 245,783,685 reasons to agree with you.”

That said, there were a couple of players who didn’t seem too ecstatic about their nightclub’s sudden profitability, with user amnhanley moaning: “I’m actually annoyed with how much money my nightclub makes with the double money this week. I don’t want to have to keep coming and picking up my 200k every 90 minutes.”

Luckily, user rental_car_fast arrived to offer a possible solution to this first-world problem, saying: “Just set your spawn location to the nightclub, and clean out the safe when you switch to a new lobby or load the game.”

Meanwhile, others recommended some ways to ensure that your nightclub is making the maximum amount of bank, with the original post author suggesting that throwing out troublemakers and bringing in VIPs are the two of the best ways to quickly improve the popularity gauge which governs how much passive money the club generates.

On the other hand, user ZerotheWanderer argued that when it comes to the club’s goods warehouse: “You'll wanna trade off organic produce (for) pharmaceutical research to optimise your passive money making.”
