GTA Online players request more small-scale heist missions

A massive amount of GTA Online players have dedicated themselves to the grind, with the goal of becoming massively wealthy billionaires who can spend at will without having to wait for a lucky windfall.

Relentlessly completing daring heists and dangerous sales missions with their dedicated crew in order to boost their in-game bottom line, these busy criminals are always looking for the next score.

Now though, some of them have taken to Reddit to outline a fresh proposal that would see the game gain a range of new heist opportunities with a less grandiose scale than the likes of Cayo Perico.

Would you be up for robbing a farmers’ market in GTA Online?

Their idea is the subject of a recent thread in the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from one of the players in question, user Busy-Incident, who shared an image of a spreadsheet featuring a list of new places and people that could be robbed, divided into groups based on the number of players required and the possible take up for grabs, captioning it: “Me and my friend thought there was a lack of small scale heists in the game and made this.”

Some of their fellow players were a little taken aback by some of the locations on the hit list, with user ccbax musing: “How do you rob a farmers’ market? That’s brutal.” and Hu_man76 adding: “Robbing a family restaurant sounds so wrong.”

Others aired concerns that were less morally-focused, with user zyl15 suggesting that the money on offer in the proposal might need increasing in order to make these heists more attractive compared to those already available, while PoppieScitten agreed: “I’m not scoping anything out for $50k.”

User Slalom420 provided an example to illustrate this, saying: “Seeing as you can already do a payphone hit for $85k in about five minutes with no (police) stars (to deal with), I don’t think anyone would do this. Cool concept though.”

On the other hand, user mlholladay96 thought the proposal might have potential with a few tweaks, suggesting: “Some of these low level type robberies listed would definitely be a fun return to a more grounded level of street crime the game once was. Maybe (make) some adjustments to payouts and lower the cost of the safehouse and you would have a great entry level money making system for new players.”

Regardless of whether you’d be up for starting a new character and causing ructions in some eateries, make sure to follow us for more GTA Online and GTA 6 updates as new vehicles and more arrive.
