While some GTA Online players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer by getting up to wacky hijinks and spending all of their hard-earned cash.

After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what it should include, and have given up agonising over how you’ll earn back your current fortune if the new game includes tax mechanics, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?

In the case of some GTA players, it seems that a lot of this enjoyment is coming from a spot of hardcore roleplaying, but for others, seeking out a killer stunt that might rocket you into GTA immortality looks like the activity of choice.

Has your GTA Online character ever taken a fall this spectacular?

Such an exploit is the topic of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from user AmberLeafRollies, who shared a clip of their character bailing out of a Panto high above Los Santos and getting into a high velocity spin as they neared the ground, captioning it: “Possible world record for most spins per second.”

While no one from the Guinness book of World Records was on hand to try and work out whether any records had actually been broken, the other GTA Evel Knievels in the comments seemed pretty impressed by the feat, with user yurizaitsev suggesting: “(You) should have switched to first person,” and RipAccomplished3361 adding: “He looks like a fidget spinner.”

One user even began to question the laws of physics, asking: “Did you spin so fast that you stopped falling? For a second you didn't appear to be moving,” prompting Jblades1 to analyse the clip and conclude: “I think he actually goes back upwards for a few seconds. Watch, the lights get close, then far, then close again.”

Thankfully, some scientists were on hand to remind their fellow players that the possibility of turning into a living helicopter doesn’t make stunts like this worth trying, with user Conscious_Bag_8052 theorising: “(In real life), those G (forces) would have killed you before (you) hit the ground.”
