In Far Cry 6, there are four standard Launchers and four unique Launchers for you to try to unlock as you fight for freedom across Yara. While the standard launchers are rather easy to acquire if you have enough materials and pesos, the unique Launchers require a little more work. Having launchers in your arsenal can be important, though, as they make taking out Anton Castillo's helicopters and tanks much easier.
In this guide, we explain how to unlock all eight Launchers, as well as which ones we think are the most valuable for combat in Far Cry 6.
How to Unlock Standard Launchers in Far Cry 6
All the Standard Rocket Launchers can be acquired by either finding them in FND Chests in military-controlled zones or by being purchased from a Guerilla Garrison that you can build at one of your Guerrilla Camps.
There are four Standard Launchers that you can add to your Arsenal, they are as follows:
The RAT4 Rocket Launcher is arguably one of the best Standard Launchers you can unlock in Far Cry 6. We write more about why the RAT4 is a great addition to your Arsenal in our guide about the best weapons to acquire during your time in Yara.
In order to purchase any Rocket Launchers from your Guerrilla Garrison, you must ensure that it is at the third level. This requires a lot of metal scraps and gasolina, so don't forget to loot and hunt as you travel across Yara.
We've got some useful guides on hunting sharks and crocodiles, which will tell you all about how to hunt them and what resources you can trade their meat for. These resources are highly useful for building up your Guerrilla Camps and modifying your standard weapons, securing your role as a strong guerrilla fighter.
How To Unlock and Where To Find All Unique Launchers in Far Cry 6
The name is somewhat telling, as each of the Unique Rocket Launchers has a unique way of being unlocked. There are four in total to add to your Arsenal, and each can be unlocked as follows:
The La Guaracha Launcher can be found in the Valle De Oro region, in the town of Segunda. You will visit this particular area during the Hype Bomb operation, so you don't need to go out of your way to find it. When you end up in Segunda, loot the area and search for a stage that has a brown door. This stage will have a picture of the villain himself, Anton Castillo, and just underneath it will be a crate containing the Launcher.
The El Caballero Launcher is a small weapon that certainly packs a punch. In the region of Madrugada, you must venture to Cobre Shores, located in the subregion of Aguas Lindas. Once you're there, you must go to the F.I. Escudo Steel Plant and must clear out the area of soldiers to be able to acquire a key off one of them to the plant's armoury.
After gaining access to the armoury, you will find a chest inside containing the El Caballero!
La Petite Mort
Much like the El Caballero, the La Petite Mort Launcher is very small, but that doesn't make it any less powerful. To unlock this weapon, you must go to Muerte Point, located in Valle De Oro's subregion of Barrial. Once here, you will need to head north along the coast until you meet a skull-shaped cave. This is where you can then embark on and complete the Sword-Crossed Lovers Treasure Hunt, in which you will ultimately find a chest containing this Launcher as a reward.
The Into Orbit Launcher will be located northwest of Del Toro Port, to the west of the Anti-Aircraft Site on your map. To actually unlock the launcher, you must complete the Liquid Courage Treasure Hunt in Del Toro Port, where you will find it tucked away in a golden chest. This Launcher is arguably the best of all four unique Launchers.
Now that you know how to get your hands on all the Launchers in Far Cry 6, you should go and put them to good use and liberate Yara of Castillo's oppressive regime.
