Should you kill the doe in Remnant 2?

There aren't exactly any correct answers to the choices you have to make within Remnant 2. This includes whether to kill the doe or not. But you should be aware that there are rewards and events that could happen when you make either decision.

You'll encounter the doe while travelling on Yaesha, a wooded land. On your journey, you might encounter the Corrupted Ravager who has aligned himself with The Root and defeated the doe, the spirit of life on Yaesha.

What happens if you kill the doe in Remnant 2?

If you kill the doe in Remnant 2, this automatically sides you with the Corrupted Ravager. The doe will die but you will get a trait point and the Ravager's Mark amulet. This will increase your damage to enemies that are bleeding. Moreover, the Blood Moon will appear and it makes it much easier for you to collect Blood Moon Essence, which helps you in getting items such as the Knotted armour set and Blade of Gul.

However, while taking this path may be beneficial for you, it won't be for Yaesha, as it will be sentenced to a slow death. The Corrupted Ravager will do whatever it likes, destroying the world around him.

What happens if you don't kill the doe in Remnant 2?

If you decide to revive the doe instead, you'll then begin a fight against the Corrupted Ravager. The ravager is a formidable enemy so be sure that prior to this decision, you're well-equipped and ready to take him on.

Some of the rewards you can obtain from defeating the Corrupted Ravager include a Trait Point, Crimson Membrane, and the Doe's Antler. The Crimson Membrane can help you in crafting a Merciless Long Gun, while the Doe's Antler can be crafted into a Red Doe Staff.

Take note, though, that you won't be able to get the Ravager's Mark amulet on this path. So, the decision you make affects mainly the drops you can obtain while progressing the game.

That's all the information we have on whether you should kill the doe or not in Remnant 2. While you're still here, you can check out our other guides on the game such as how to upgrade the Dragon Heart and what to upgrade first in Remnant 2.
