The Call of Duty franchise is no stranger to hosting huge events to showcase the latest releases. Call of Duty Next gave players their first look at Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 and as the launch of the battle royale nears, some fans are wondering if a Warzone 2 reveal event will take place.
As the community gears up ahead of Season One, Infinity Ward is taking a slightly different approach as it prepares to give players another look at the new battle royale experience and DMZ, an extraction mode heavily inspired by Escape from Tarkov.

Warzone 2 reveal event date and time
A closer look at Warzone 2 takes place on November 9 from 12PM PT (8PM GMT). Rather than a full-scale event, Infinity Ward has invited numerous content creators to its Los Angeles studios for a chance to play the game early and showcase some gameplay.

There's no dedicated stream for the Warzone 2 reveal event but each of the content creators will broadcast the game through their own streaming channels. Here are just a few streams worth watching:
What is DMZ?
In addition to Warzone 2, the content creators will also showcase DMZ for the very first time. As mentioned above, DMZ is an extraction mode where players drop into a match with a wide range of objectives. Players can choose to complete any of the objectives before exiting the match with the loot.

It's unclear what the content creators will showcase. However, there's a strong possibility of them showing any new features Infinity Ward has added following feedback from Call of Duty Next.
There's also a high chance of a full DMZ run taking place so players see how it works before jumping into the action themselves.
Warzone 2 and DMZ release date
Warzone 2 and DMZ launch on November 16 for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The battle royale and extraction modes are bound to prove popular in addition to Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. With so many modes and games to play, it's a great time to be a Call of Duty fan.
The launch of the game also coincides with the start of Season One, meaning there's an all-new battle pass and Operators are available to obtain as soon as you load into the menus.
