When does Warzone 2 season 1 start?
The first season of content for Warzone 2 launches at exactly the same time as the game. On November 16, players can purchase the battle pass, use any new guns arriving in the game, and work their way through seasonal levels.
Warzone 2 season 1 roadmap
Typically, the start of a brand-new Warzone 2 season sees the appearance of a roadmap containing plenty of intel on the new content coming to the battle royale. Season 1 is no different as Activision has revealed the official roadmap for the game
Here's a closer look at all the content on offer.
Warzone 2 season 1 guns
It turns out the recent leaks were accurate. Season 1 will contain four new guns alongside the arrival of the Modern Warfare 2 arsenal. Here are their names:
- Chimera (Assault rifle)
- Victus XMR (Sniper rifle)
- Bas-P (SMG)
- M13B (Assault rifle)
The Bas-P and Victus XMR are avaialble to use as soon as the season drops while the Chimera and M13B arrive as part of the mid-season update.
Warzone 2 season 1 battle pass
The Warzone 2 battle pass undergoes a significant makeover in Warzone 2. Instead of working through the tiers, players have the option to choose which order they unlock rewards.
The battle pass is split into five maps containing 20 sectors which total 100 tiers. To unlock items, you need to earn battle tokens. The exact unlock method for the tokens is unknown but as soon as we find out, we'll share more information.
