With rumours and speculation surrounding Infinity Ward's latest offering flying around, leaks have unveiled details on DMZ, a brand-new mode for Call of Duty. If leaks are to be believed, the mode bears resemblance to Escape from Tarkov.

What is Modern Warfare 2 DMZ?

According to numerous leaks, DMZ will be an all-new Call of Duty experience launching alongside Modern Warfare 2. As mentioned above, it's believed to resemble several aspects of Escape from Tarkov meaning players will have to scavenge loot, complete objectives, and secure extraction from the battlefield.

Contrary to leaks claiming DMZ will feature several maps, Infinity Ward says the mode will use the entirety of the Warzone 2 map.

With a total of 18 points of interest to explore, there's plenty of room for 100 players to take on AI, loot, complete objectives, and eliminate each other.
