Each year, the Festive Anglerfish is available for players to catch in the Forgotten Lands between December 18 and December 31. This means that players can catch the Festive Anglerfish right now.

In order to catch the Festive Anglerfish in Dreamlight Valley, head to the Forgotten Lands and approach any body of water between 6 PM and 5 AM in your time zone. Look out for green and red ripples that signify the presence of the Festive Anglerfish. Casting your rod into these ripples will allow you to reel in the Festive Anglerfish.

You can only catch one Festive Anglerfish in Dreamlight Valley, so if you caught one last year, you'll not be able to this year.
