How to get Matryoshka dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are four Matryoshka dolls to find, but they all seem to spawn in random locations. Your search will take you to each of the game's biomes - one is seemingly guaranteed to spawn in the Plaza, but others have been found in the Glade of Trust, Peaceful Meadows, Forest of Valor, Frosted Heights, and Sunlit Plateau. You won't find any dolls on the island introduced by the game's Rift in Time DLC, however.
The dolls themselves are tiny, so you should keep your eyes on the ground and look out for the tell-tale sparkles that appear when you're close. Keep at least four inventory slots free, too, or you'll need to discard some items to make room for the dolls.
What to do with Matryoshka dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley
When you've found the four dolls, you should talk to Merlin. He's not entirely sure what the dolls do, but his advice to explore will eventually lead you to an out-of-place tree in the Forgotten Lands.
The tree you're looking for is taller and thinner than the others. When you get close, a pumpkin is clearly carved into the bark, and an option to interact with the tree appears. Each Matryoshka doll sacrificed to the tree will make the pumpkin grow more lively until Jack Skellington eventually appears.
