Genshin Impact La Signora Boss Fight Guide

The Genshin Impact La Signora boss fight has finally arrived, and we're here to help you defeat her. After the Fatui Harbinger showed up in the two previous chapters, she finally appears in Inazuma to face off against the Traveler in Genshin Impact 2.1.

Fighting against La Signora is somewhat similar to the Childe boss at the end of chapter one, as La Signora also has multiple forms with different elements, the first one being a quick fight and the second form posing a much greater threat. There's even an environmental variable to keep track of in this fight, too.

So, without further delay, here's how to beat the Genshin Impact La Signora boss fight.

Genshin Impact La Signora Boss Element

La Signora's initial element is, unsurprisingly, Cryo. However, her Crimson Witch of Embers form switches to Pyro, and changes the environment around her.

During the initial phase, absolute cold affects the party. Pyro devices are scattered around the stage, so you'll need to periodically stand near them to dispel the chill. This does make you a target for Signora's many ranged attacks, though, so we recommend destroying the Pyro devices to immediately remove your status. If you do this, you will, however, have to wait a little while for them to respawn. You can also bring Goulash along to reduce the cold's brutal effects.

A new heat-based status shows up during her Crimson Witch of Embers form. As with the first phase, you'll notice a few Cryo devices dotted around the arena offering respite from the heat. Once again, it's better to destroy these for instant status removal, otherwise you'll be a sitting duck for Signora's brutal ranged Pyro attacks.

Genshin Impact La Signora Boss Fight Strategy

Here are some tips for beating the La Signora boss:

La Signora - Cryo Form

Signora's first form is Cryo, and during this phase most of her attacks are ranged. The longer you spend near her, or the more you get hit, the more your cold status will increase. This means you have to periodically stand near or destroy the Pyro devices to remove it. If you decide to stand near them, make sure to keep dodging, as Signora will continue throwing ranged Cryo attacks your way.

Once you whittle her health down, La Signora will encase herself in a Cryo cocoon, which you'll have to break to enter the next stage. As with the special ice in Dragonspine, grab the Crimson Butterflies around the arena, and attack the ice to weaken it. It should take three Crimson Butterflies and three attacks to destroy, but be warned, during this phase the temperature plummets, and ice rains from the ceiling, so the faster you break her cocoon, the better.

La Signora - Crimson Witch of Embers Form

Once the Cocoon shatters, the true form of La Signora shows up: Rosalyne-Kruzchka Lohefalter, the Crimson Witch of Embers. During this phase, La Signora uses a flaming whip as her primary attack, though this is relatively easy to dodge if you get in close and move around her.

She does have some more deadly Pyro attacks, though. When she moves to the side of the arena, this means she's going to unleash a Pyro AoE attack, so get behind her as quickly as possible to keep attacking her while she's doing it. As with the Cryo phase, you'll have to reduce a status, so periodically shatter the Cryo devices in the corners of the arena to remove your status, then go back to fighting her.

This section of the fight is pretty attritional as the heated status removes your health, and there is fire everywhere, especially when Signora turns into a whirling vortex of flame, and fills the arena with smaller fire hurricanes. Cryo bow users like Ganyu and Diona would be useful for this fight, especially with Diona's shield.

Ideally, you want to beat La Signora before all the Cryo devices are destroyed, as they take a little while to respawn, and this can make surviving especially hard if she's still alive by that point. But keep wearing her down and evading her powerful AoEs, and you'll beat her.

What is the Best Team Comp for the La Signora Boss?

You'll want at least one Pyro and one Hydro character in your party to deal with each of La Signora's forms.

Diluc, Yoimiya, or Bennett would be good for the Cryo phase, especially with Bennett's healing and Yoimiya's ranged attack, though any Pyro character is going to be a bit useless when Signora changes, unless they also deal decent physical damage, too.

The Electro Traveler will then come in handy for the Crimson Witch of Flames fight, though Ganyu, Xingqiu, Mona, Ayaka, or, ironically, Tartaglia would also prove to be effective.

We recommend putting a Geo character in the party to trigger Crystalize and add protection against La Signora's deadly elemental attacks as well. Zhongli would be a great option for this very reason, and due to his defensive capabilities. Diona would also be good due to the Cryo damage absorption of her shield.
