Searching for Genshin Impact Amakumo Fruit locations? This mysterious electro-charged delicacy is pretty important in version 2.1, since it's one of the materials you're going to need to ascend the new five-star Electro character, Baal. That's where Amakumo Fruit comes in. In this guide, we'll explain the best places to find the fruit, and how to farm it, so you can get Baal into the big leagues as soon as possible. If you're looking for other information surrounding version 2.1, we have a handy Genshin Impact fishing guide, as well as boss guides for the Hydro Hypostasis and that nasty Thunder Manifestation. Without further ado, here's where to get your Amakumo Fruit.
Where To Find Amakumo Fruit in Genshin Impact
Amakumo Fruit is located on Seirai Island, one of the two new locations added in version 2.1. This area is racked with storms and lightning strikes, while the location that contains the fruit, closer to the centre of the island, is also under the effect of Balethunder. This makes harvesting the fruit especially difficult, as you continuously lose health while exploring this area, and there are very few Electrograna around to offer protection.
Amakumo Fruit are easy to spot, though, and kind of resemble Small Lamp Grass, except with two fruits on a single plant. You can see the exact location of every fruit on the official Mihoyo interactive map.
How Do I Get Amakumo Fruit Without Dying?
There are plenty of Amakumo Fruit on Seirai, but pretty much all of them are located on the central island, where the lightning strikes and the Balethunder are at their worst. For this reason, it's better to do the Serai world quest before you harvest in order to make it a little more hospitable for fruit gathering. Just as with Yashiori Island and the quest to repair its towers in order to stop lightning strikes, 'Seirai Stormchasers' sees you go to the island and repair its sealing stones.
You get this quest by heading to Katheryne at the Adventurer's Guild in Inazuma City. She'll direct you to Serai Island to find some missing people. If you follow this quest through till the end, navigating Serai safely will be a lot easier. Of course, you don't have to do the quest, and can go and grab the fruit under the effect of Balethunder, but you'll need plenty of food with which to heal.
It's also worth considering that Seirai Stormchasers unlocks the Thunder Manifestation boss, which gives another of Baal's ascension materials, so there's really no reason not to.
How To Farm Amakumo Fruit
It's easy enough to farm Amakumo Fruit: just use the map to locate where it is, then plan a route across the island that takes in as many as possible. As these materials have a 48-hour cooldown until they respawn, it's better to pick them all at once, otherwise they'll respawn at different times and things will get confusing. You need 168 Amakumo Fruit to ascend Baal all the way, and there are 126 located on Seirai, so this means you should only need a few rotations if you grab a decent number each time.
