Warzone 'one-shot' knife bug ruining games

In a recent YouTube video, Warzone content creator Metaphor highlighted this throwing knife exploit, which allows players to score eliminations with a single hit.

The creator revealed: "If you're using an SMG and throwing knife, as long as you have the SMG out and melee with it, it's a one-shot kill." Typically, melee weapons require a few successful hits to score a kill, making this particular exploit particularly frustrating for those on the receiving end of it.

Metaphor argues: "It is unbelievably broken. The game is going to be ruined when everyone picks this up."

So far, no other content creators have offered any opinions on the broken throwing knife melee exploit, but, provided it is becoming a widespread problem, there's a strong possibility it's capable of helping players to dominate casual and ranked matches.

Warzone's competitive playlist is no stranger to exploits. In recent seasons, some players uncovered one which allowed players to earn easy SR, enabling them to climb up the ranks with ease.

It's unclear if Raven Software is aware of the throwing knife exploit as there's no mention of it on the developer's Trello board. For now, it's worth being aware of anyone armed with an SMG as there's a possibility of them ending the matches of players in the blink of an eye.
