Storyline

Season 1

A trap has been set. A CIA safe house has been hit. And an old enemy returns to get his revenge.

After storming an experimental Nova 6 production site on Rebirth Island, Russel Adler has made a powerful enemy in Viktor "Stitch" Kuzmin, the ex-KGB leader of the Nova 6 program. And Stitch is looking to settle the score.

Now, Adler and his CIA strike team find themselves trapped, and surrounded by enough Nova 6 nerve gas to throw the world off its axis.

Season 2

Frank Woods knows the jungles of Southeast Asia all too well. During the events of the original Black Ops, he and Alex Mason tracked down a crashed plane filled with Nova 6 gas deep in Laos, only to be captured and held as a POW until his eventual escape in 1972.

Twelve years later, Woods returns to Laos with NATO’s finest to handle another crisis. Russell Adler has been abducted after his fateful re-encounter with Stitch following a massive firefight in the abandoned Twin Pines Mall.

Adler’s whereabouts are still unknown, but according to clues left behind by Perseus agents, he may be held within the Golden Triangle. This intel leads a CIA strike team led by Woods to a contraband trafficking route for Nova 6 ran by one of Stitch’s accomplices – Kapano “Naga” Vang – who is ready to pounce on these agents from the shadows.

But the question remains: Where is Adler?

Season 3

Frank Woods managed to rescue Adler from Verdansk but Stitch reveals that his work with him is "done," leading many to imply that Adler has been brainwashed in a similar fashion to how Alex Mason was brainwashed back in the first Black Ops title.

With US satellites interfering with Stitch's communications, Wraith pushes the fugitive to go ahead with the plan, revealing that their contact in Africa is ready.

Could we be heading to Africa for the next part of the story?

Warzone

Limited-Time Modes

With Raven Software confirming that it is going to continue embracing the 1980s theme, there is a chance that we could see another limited-time event relating to the time period begin at the start of Season 4.

Alongside the potential of a new LTM, it's likely that some new points of interest could be added into Verdansk '84 that may coincide with the event.

Alongside a new LTM set in the 80s, leakers have uncovered that an event that may reveal COD 2021 has been added to the files. Could it take place in Season 4?

Little information surrounding exact details of what Raven and Activision have in store has been revealed so be sure to check back as soon as any news breaks.

Weapon Balancing

During Season 3, Raven Software has done an excellent job in making sure the entire Warzone weapon arsenal is balanced, enabling players to use a variety of weapons in their loadouts.

The developer has confirmed that more changes will be arriving in the battle royale, and with the start of Season 4 often playing host to a huge update, the beginning of the season could see some changes to the current metagame.

With the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle currently proving to be the most popular rifle to use, it's likely that some chances could bring it in line with some of the other weapons on offer.

Points Of Interest

As mentioned earlier, new points of interest could be added into Verdansk '84 depending on the theme of any LTM that might arrive.

During the 80s Action Heroes event, Warzone saw the additions of Nakatomi Plaza in Downtown and ten survival camps located across the map.

If Activision is intending on revealing COD 2021 during Season 4, there could be some new POIs inspired by World War 2 added to the map.

Alongside a potential reveal, the mine shaft remains closed, much to the curiosity of players wondering what could be inside. Will Season 4 mark the opening of the mines? We will have to wait and see.

Fast Travel System

A fast-travel system involving the Red Doors from Black Ops Cold War was unintentionally revealed after players received a survey from Activision asking for feedback on the feature.

The Red Doors will be located all over the map, enabling players to traverse the map as quickly as possible.

The system has yet to be revealed by Raven Software, meaning it could arrive as part of Season 4.

Zombies And Outbreak

Zoo Is The Next Outbreak Area - 14th June

Treyarch has teased the next area for Outbreak!

Zoo will be the next area for the large-scale Zombies mode and it's likely to be the setting for Operation Excision, the second Easter Egg quest.

Original Article

Season 3 saw Treyarch implement a number of changes to Zombies, especially in Season 3 Reloaded.

Alongside the changes, the first Outbreak Easter Egg went live, continuing the battle between Requiem and Omega groups.

A second Easter Egg for Outbreak is expected to go live in Season 4, setting the scene for the next round-based map which is rumoured to be set in Berlin.
