Season 4 of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War is finally here after weeks of leaks and speculations. The start of a new season means that new weapons will be arriving to the ever-expanding arsenals of both games, much to the excitement of players.
The start of Season 4 will see two new weapons arrive to Cold War and Warzone, one of which is the C58 assault rifle. The rifle is the third of its kind to arrive into Cold War since its release, joining the Groza and FARA 83 as post-launch ARs.
Described as featuring high damage alongside a slower fire rate, the C58 has all the makings of a weapon that can have a significant impact on the multiplayer and Warzone metagame.

How To Unlock The C58 Assault Rifle
Update - With Season 5 now underway, players now have to complete a challenge in order to unlock the C58 rather than reach a specific tier in the Battle Pass. To unlock it, score a Long Shot in 15 different completed matches using assault rifles.
Just like the MG 82 light machine gun, the process of unlocking the C58 is very straightforward.
In order to unlock the rifle, simply reach Tier 31 of the Season 4 Battle Pass and it will appear as soon as the Tier has been reached.

How To Level Up The Season 4 Battle Pass Fast
Without purchasing the additional 20 Tier Skips along with the Battle Pass, this can be an incredibly lengthy process but it is certainly worth the grind.
The fastest way to unlock the C58 is by purchasing the first 31 Tiers of the Battle Pass but for those that enjoy working their way through the Tiers, we recommend utilising a Double Battle Pass XP weekend to speed up the process.
