Battlefield 2042 has quickly become one of the bigger talking points in gaming circles, not just because of the endless customization that comes with Battlefield Portal but also the leaked details of Hazard Zone, which many expected to be the Battlefield 2042 Battle Royale.
This isn’t the first time Battlefield has dealt with Battle Royales, with Battlefield V adding Firestorm after its launch, which is why a lot of fans are hoping that Battlefield 2042 follows suit due to how great titles like Warzone and Apex Legends have been.
Is Battlefield 2042 A Battle Royale?
Despite the popularity of the Battle Royale genre, it looks like Battlefield 2042 won’t be adding that mode to the game anytime soon, at least during launch.
Since Battlefield 2042 is expected to be a live-service game, there’s always a chance that they could add a Battle Royale mode post-launch, especially since it’s a question that keeps getting asked by fans of the series.
Considering how Battlefield 2042 is multiplayer-only and is possibly releasing a Free-to-Play version, the chances of a Battle Royale mode appearing in the game are slim, though there’s always a small possibility.
The Battle Royale genre is still a fairly popular one with fans and streamers alike, so you can count on some first time-eyes towards Battlefield 2042 should it add one post-launch.
