Apex Legends Seer Nerf Has Been Delayed

Apex Legends players have been enjoying Season 10 for a couple of weeks now, and a lot has changed. The World’s Edge map changes and new Rampage LMG have changed up the experience for us all, and have even tempted some of the biggest Warzone streamers like Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff and Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar over to Respawn’s battle royale. However, their time has been a little turbulent, with arguments and gondolas ruining their day on multiple occasions.

However, the most groundbreaking addition to the new season is undoubtedly Seer. The new Legend launched strong – very strong – and players think his scanning abilities are simply too strong. After all, his Passive scan is arguably better than Bloodhound’s Tactical, and the rest of his kit only adds to his power.

Respawn developers have been vocal about a patch being in the works to balance Seer, but this has now been delayed.

Apex Legends Seer Nerf Has Been Delayed

According to Apex Legends Producer Josh Medina, the team “ran into issues” with the patch that nerfed Seer, so players may have to wait until next week for the changes.

The changes may include more than just the Seer balances, as we’re expecting some changes to the Prowler as well to slightly diminish its power. It's currently one of the best guns in Apex Legends, and doesn't feel like it has been nerfed much from when it was only available in the Care Packages.

It’s a positive sign that Respawn is staying communicative with their work on the issues, however, so hopefully next week we’ll see fewer drone domes encasing every building and battle.

In the meantime, keep abusing Seer’s powerful kit while you can, and keep your eyes on the Apex Legends patch notes for any word of changes and nerfs.
