TimTheTatman Has Lethal Interaction With Apex Legends Gondola

With many popular streamers trying their hands at Apex Legends Season 10, we’ve been inundated with top plays and full lobbies. Top Call of Duty: Warzone streamers Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff and Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar have been jumping into World’s Edge this season, and the results have been, well, mixed.

Controversial streamer Félix ‘xQc’ Lengel gave up on playing the actual game and bought a bunch of Apex Packs instead – which went infuriatingly well – but we’re here to see some gameplay.

Obviously there are a lot of differences between Warzone and Apex – the time-to-kill probably being the biggest. So, it’s only natural that it takes a little while to adapt to a new game. TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS mostly played in bronze ranked lobbies, so not against players who even have incredible movement or Apex Predator status. However, things still managed to go wrong.

TimTheTatman Has Lethal Interaction With Apex Legends Gondola

In Apex Legends games, you have 57 other players trying to kill you and to win, your team has to be the last alive. We all know that, though. Despite the broken L-Stars and Prowlers and new Rampage LMGs trying to take you down, TimTheTatman was wrestling with another enemy – the new gondolas.

The gondolas are new additions to World’s Edge added in the Apex Legends Season 10 map changes. You can find them in the new POIs, and jump on them to be transported across the lava to other areas of the large new places. However, it wasn’t getting on the gondola that spelled TimTheTatman’s doom, it was getting off.

His teammates don’t seem to happy that Tim’s Warzone ‘skills’ have transferred to another battle royale, but we hope he's learned how to dismount a gondola after this disastrous attempt.

We'll see whether gondolas will continue to get the better of TimTheTatman - or if he'll continue playing Apex Legends at all - but so long as the constant problems with Warzone cheaters persevere, streamers will look for other games to play.
