NICKMERCS Can't Wait For Season 10 Either

If you're feeling like a kid on Christmas Eve, you're not alone. Top Call of Duty: Warzone streamer Nick 'NICKMERCS' Kolcheff has caught the Apex Legends bug, and can't wait for the new season either:

Apex Legends Pros Unhappy With Patch Notes

Apex Legends professional players are unhappy with the patch notes. The biggest issues arise from the Caustic buff and lack of nerfs to Bloodhound and the Flatline. As one of the highest ranked Legends in our Apex Legends tier list and one of the best guns in the game, it's fair to say the pair could do with a little tuning.

However, TSM's ImperialHal had some words of wisdom to those complaining about a patch that they haven't even played yet, explaining that not everyone will be happy and players should "play what is given to us."

Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence Lobby Screen

The content creators who had early access to Season 10 are sharing more details, including a pretty swish looking lobby screen. However, Respawn developer Derek Bentley, a senior environment artist on Apex Legends, mentions on Twitter that there will be more details in the final build. So look out for any new tidbits when you can log in.

Apex Legends Season 10 Story And Lore

Respawn lead writer Amanda Doiron has confirmed that Apex Legends Season 10's story will not be told through in-game comics, as has been happening for the past few seasons. However, she does confirm that community comics and radio plays "maybe" continuing on the Apex Legends Twitter account this season.

You can hear more from Amanda and seven other Respawn developers in our UK-exclusive interview ahead of Season 10, where she sheds some light on Seer's lore and the design process of creating his character.

Apex Legends Season 10 Patch Notes Live!

The Apex Legends patch notes are now live for Season 10. Unfortunately there are no major changes to Revtane, which means that will keep being a problem in your Apex Legends ranked matches - if there are no cheaters, that is.

Respawn also posted a devstream which goes into detail about the changes in Season 10:

Players are a little disappointed that Bloodhound's nerf is lacklustre, and Caustic is back to being a strong defensive character:

There are also no major buffs for Wattson or Crypto, who are seriously subpar characters who could use some love.

The patch notes may be disappointing at first, but some players are hoping for more major changes in an early-season Town Takeover or similar.

Apex Legends Streamers React To The Spitfire Being Vaulted

The Spitfire has been a pain in Apex Legends players' collective behinds for two seasons now, and the overpowered LMG is finally being moved to care packages in Season 10. It's safe to say, streamers are very happy about the change:

Will Seer Be Overpowered?

Many in the community have been debating whether Seer will be overpowered and if he is, will he replace Crypto or Bloodhound? Luckily we have content creators who can give us their insight, check out kandyrew below to see what they think!

Is Seer Gay?

When we got our first look at Seer many in the community commented on him to be quite feminine and though this has no relation to sexuality at all, players began questioning how he identifies.

Well luckily, Amanda Doiron, lead writer at Respawn, has cleared things up, announcing that "Seer sees to the heart of people and doesn't limit himself to a specific gender."

It's no surprise that Seer is so open with such love to give, after being an outcast himself, raised with compassion by his parents, of course, he wants to give that to others, who cares what gender they are!

Amanda then confirmed in a comment that he's pansexual, let the Fuse/Seer ship sail. It's amazing to see Respawn continuing its dedication to diversity and inclusivity with Apex Legends LGBTQ+ characters.

New Legend: Seer

Below is the trailer released regarding the newest legend in Apex Legends upcoming Season 10, Seer. This video showcases his abilities, ultimate and story.

We can't wait to see where he eventually ends up on the Apex Legends Character Tier List!

But it's not just a new Legend that's on the way, there's a weapon too, and it looks like it could replace the Spitfire.

Staycation gave us a little guide to get ready in preparation to wield the Rampage, check it out below.

As well as the above have a look at some of the opinions of the players in the comments of this Reddit post, what do you think? Will the Rampage be overpowered? Could it be one of Apex Legends' best guns? We'll have to wait and see.
