UPDATE: The Apex Legends Season 9 Collection Event has been annouced as the Genesis Collection Event, and starts on June 29, 2021. The event will contain Revenant's new heirloom, as well as new skins for Valk, Loba, and other great cosmetic items as rewards.
With the recent release of Apex Legends Season 9: Legacy, it seems almost too soon for the next big event in-game.
Dataminers, however, have found information pertaining to a new Collection Event coming to the game believed to be titled" Japan Legacy"
Apex Legends Japan Legacy Collection Event
Season 9's Battle Pass already features items with a Japanese theme, so it makes sense for a Collection Event to feature the same.
While nothing is set in stone, several cosmetic items for the event can be seen in the above video.
With a heavy Asian feel to Apex Legends Season 9, a Japanese Collection Event is a great way to celebrate Asian culture and follows through on Respawn's campaign to stop Asian hate.
Rumors are circulating that the release date will be June 29, 2021.
Of course, this is not set in stone and has not officially been announced by Respawn Entertainment.
Respawn usually leads up to a large event with at least a week's worth of hype and information, and there has not been a peep from them as of yet.
Hopefully, players will see the Collection Event launch with the Apex Legends 9.1 update at the same time.
Leaked information reveals that the Japanese Collection event will at least feature new skins for Valk, Fuse, Wattson, Caustic, Bloodhound, and Revenant.
There also seem to skin for the Eva 8 Auto, as well as the Volt.
The Loot Tick for the event features a red and black theme, with golden petals painted on each side.
Some of the leaked skins shown in the video above turned out to be part of the Apex Legends Arenas Flash Event, which may lead as a precursor to Season 9's Collection Event.
