PUBG Mobile 2.5 is the second major update of 2023, and it is set to bring tons of new content including a collaboration event with Bugatti. The new update also coincides with the 5th year anniversary of PUBG Mobile, so players can expect some free rewards and special events soon.

When is the PUBG Mobile 2.5 release date?
The 2.5 update is expected to release sometime between March 3 and March 10. There have been delays in the past with some regions receiving updates after others so we can assume all servers will receive the new update by the second week of March.
How to download PUBG Mobile 2.5
The version 2.5 update for PUBG Mobile is considered to be one of the biggest patches yet, and it is set to bring with it new content for the anniversary.
If you launch the game when the update hits, the game will ask you to update to version 2.5 via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. If you install PUBG Mobile via APKs, head to your favourite APK download site and look up “PUBG Mobile 2.5” to download the update.

Here is a quick summary of everything new that is coming to PUBG Mobile 2.5 next month.
New item - Block Cover
The new item will be discoverable in crates across the maps. Block Covers can be used to spawn defensive walls and can also be creatively used to form bridges or elevators.
New item - Portable Trampoline
The Portable Trampoline will allow players to gain vertical height, and the item can be found anywhere on the map.
New item - Portable Cannon
The Portable Cannon will spawn throughout Erangel, and it can be used to launch not just projectiles from a distance, but can also throw players across long distances.
5th anniversary event
Players can expect free cosmetics and special game modes that will be available as part of the update. Krafton has kept details about the anniversary rewards under wraps so far, but we will learn more in the coming weeks.
Bugatti collab event
PUBG is set to collaborate with carmaker Bugatti as part of the 5th-year anniversary celebrations next month.
