Medieval Dynasty is currently available on Steam, discounted by 20% in early access.
Being early access, there's plenty to come in terms of new features.
Since launching a lot of fans are keen to see Medieval Dynasty on PS4, but there’s also a huge section of the player base who want to know about multiplayer co-op in Medieval Dynasty.
So here’s everything we know about multiplayer in Medieval Dynasty, right now.
Medieval Dynasty Co-Op Mode
Medieval Dynasty could be getting a co-op mode in the future.
Fans have been non-stop asking for this feature.
Many of those who haven't bought the game have been taking to forums and Discord.
Here they share that they are interested in the game but want to play with friends and so won't buy it until that's possible.
I've been raving about this game to everyone I know and the first question they ask is if it's multiplayer.
Many solo players have been loving the survival RPG but feel its a bit too much of a grind and slow-paced alone.
There have been numerous times I've attempted to build a new structure and am over-encumbered trying to carry all the resources.
It would have been so much easier and quicker to have someone else to carry half the load.
Speaking on a Steam post, developer SwordsOfTheSouth told fans:
"For this version a multiplayer is not planned, BUT we’re considering the option for a later iteration. No promises, although!"
This post is a tad vague but we imagine it means that co-op will be a later feature if it comes to the game at all.
Medieval Dynasty already has a road map for Q4 and Q1 2020 including things such as events, challenges, fishing, riding/mounts and even bandits.
Maybe co-op will be released with the full launch at some stage in the future!
We certainly think going multiplayer could really benefit the game in terms of gameplay and also sales!
Right now it's unlikely we'll get to build a village with friends but at least the devs are acknowledging the players.
There's so much to do in Medieval Dynasty a large focus is making as much money as possible! If you're just starting out you might be wondering where to find Straw and Iron. It's a good idea to get your farm set up too, you'll need manure to plant crops and Flaxseed is a great crop to grow. There's also plenty of animals to hunt to create items, some of the most rewarding creatures being Bears and Wolves! Recruiting villagers later in the game is vital, getting a wife too and you'll need to upgrade their homes using Daub. Hopefully, Medieval Dynasty will make its way to console players too, there's plenty that could be added to the title's roadmap, maybe we'll see multiplayer in the future!.
