How to change suits in Spider-Man 2

Apparently, one of Spidey's hidden powers is to instantly change his suit in a heartbeat, or at least that's how easy it is to alter your look. To change your suit, you'll need to open the Suits menu with the touchpad on your PS5 controller and use the L1 and R1 buttons to cycle to the right menu. Once you have hovered over the suit you want to wear, provided it is unlocked, you can equip it with the X button. To change between Peter and Miles, use the R2 button.

There are a great many appealing facets of Spider-Man that have made it such an enthralling and popular series and not all of them are related to the story or combat. One in particular that always generates plenty of buzz around the game is the costumes. Thankfully, it certainly appears that Sony and Insomniac Games have been very generous with the cosmetic options, boasting over 60 different suit options between the two main characters.

Wait...how many suits?!

How to unlock all suits in Spider-Man 2

As mentioned above, there are a lot of different suits that Peter and Miles can don as they fight crime in New York City. While most of these can be acquired in-game, you'll also need to stock up on City Tokens and Tech Parts to unlock most of them. There are four main ways that you'll unlock new Spidey suits:

  • Pre-order Spider-Man 2 (Two suits with three variants of each)
  • Purchase the game's Deluxe Edition (Ten suits)
  • Progress through the Spider-Man 2 story
  • Craft new suits

The first three options are self-explanatory, however, the craftable suits require some extra attention. Each suit can only be unlocked one particular way, so the crafting will only apply to the suits you don't unlock by pre-ordering, purchasing the Deluxe Edition, or progressing through the story. Nonetheless, here are all 78 suits in Spider-Man 2 and how to unlock them.
