Did you know that there's a Genshin Impact Sumeru secret entrance hidden in The Chasm? Now you do, and we're going to show you how to find it. Genshin Impact's latest update has brought a huge, luscious new area, and many secrets along with it for us to discover. And if you want to reach it in a cool, unique, and interesting way that's off the beaten track of the official route, we've got your back.
The path that leads the way to this new land is fairly hidden regardless of what level player you are or where you find yourself - there is a small gap in the cliffs in the Chasm's overworld that you can follow, or simply walk into Sumeru over the hills behind Liyue.

How to find the Sumeru secret entrance
To get to this super secret and cool extra way into Sumeru, you'll need to head into the Chasm's Underground Mines area. From here, navigate to the Main Mining Area on the East side.
On the map, you'll see a small area of green with big root items around it. This is what you want to aim for. To get in there, you need to locate a path in the cliffside. Teleport to the Waypoint in this area, and head towards the wall.

The screenshot below shows the location of the cliffside ledge with the blue arrow, and the white circle is where a band of Fatui agents lie in wait. You can run past, or choose to defeat them on your way up the cliffside, following some broken bridge structures.
Once you've navigated to the ledge you'll see two Geo barrels against a wall. Shoot these, and they'll blow up the wall behind. Continue through and you'll be in a cavern filled with giant roots. There are some elemental statues, but these aren't important.
Look up, and locate the roots with a glowing light around them - this is where the path to Sumeru is. Climb up however you can, and look for a small mushroom growing on a twisted branch around a bigger one. Here, a prompt titled 'Move Up' will appear, and will transport you into the lush land of Sumeru!
Where does the secret entrance lead?
The secret entrance to Sumeru in the Chasm's depths spits you out very near to the 'real' path in the overworld, but a little further along the river by some rocks.
You can also go back through the rocks into the Chasm if you would like, by selecting enter when you approach them. This will put you back into the same cavern with the giant roots that you came to Sumeru from.
