Where to get Naku Weed in Genshin Impact

Naku Weed in Inazuma

Need some Naku Weed in Genshin Impact to ascend your characters, or create some gadgets? Look no further - our guide shows exactly where to get it.

Each region in Teyvat has 'local speciality' items, which are usually flowers or bugs. For instance, Mondstadt has Philanemo Mushrooms, and Sumeru has Scarab beetles. These items are needed to ascend characters that come from the region, and sometimes some gadgets or other item recipes.

What is Naku Weed

Naku Weed is the local speciality plant of the Inazuma region. It grows in single stalks, where electro-concentration is high. You can't use it to cook, but it is an important item for ascending some Inazuman characters.

Naku Weed locations and Naku Weed farm route

Naku Weed is found on most Inazuma islands, and here we've picked out some prime locations:

Yashiori Island and Kannazuka Island

Yashiori Island and Kannazuka Island

Between Yashiori and Kannazuka island, there's a few weeds to be found. They are mostly clustered around the Taratasuna area on Kannazuka, thanks to the electric concentration, and on the Fort Fujitou side of the valley on Yashiori.

There are not too many sprouts of the weeds on the main Inazuma island, but the electrically charged chasm next to the Grand Narukami Shrine grows a few. There's also a trio of the weed outside Konda Village on the west side.

Seirai Island

Seirai Island

Seirai Island has Naku Weeds growing all over the place - there's not really any one area that has a high concentration, aside from the bottom left area of Amakumo Peak. The rest are largely spread across the outlying islands, including Koseki Village.

Other than foraging in the wild, you can get Naku Weed from other places, too. There are currently two shops that sell the plant: Tsukumomono Groceries in Inazuma City and Babak in Port Ormos. They each sell five weeds for 1,000 Mora each, which refill every three days.

Luckily, Naku Weed can be grown in your Serenitea Pot, too - but you'll only get four at once.

What is Naku Weed used for?

Naku Weed has a few uses. Like a lot of harvestable plants, it isn't edible, but can be used for ascending characters as a local speciality item, and in some crafting recipes.

4-Star Kuki Shinobu and 5-Star Yoimiya both require 168 Naku Weeds in total, to ascend them from level 20 to 80. Other than that, the weeds are used to make Electrolucus Resonance Stones, available at the crafting bench, that can point out Electrolucus locations. These are only one-time use, and require five Naku Weeds, five Sakura Blooms, and one Amethyst lump to make.
