So now you're a homeowner of sorts in Teyvat, and you want to visit your new Genshin Impact property. Here's how to do just that, and how to leave the Serenitea Pot too, as both can be a little confusing. Maybe adventurers have gotten stuck in their interdimensional homes, and we’re hear to ensure it never happens again.
Players will automatically get the quest to own their own Serenitea Pot as they progress through the Liyue-centric Archon quests, and it can provide some real benefits. The area in the teapot allows you to decorate at will, but also grow materials and earn some free Serenitea Pot Primogems, too!

How to get into the Serenitea Pot
Accessing your Serenitea Pot for the first time can be a total headscratcher. You’d think it’s available on the map, but it isn’t. To get there, you must find the Serenitea Pot in the gadget section of your inventory and deploy it into the overworld. Then, hit 'Enter the Serenitea Pot'. You’ll then be transported inside your teapot, where your new home awaits.
If you purchase a sub-space Teleport Waypoint from the Realm Depot and place it in your teapot, then you can travel to it from your Teyvat map by opening the tabs menu and choosing the Serenitea Pot. By the way, if the icon is glowing, it means either your crops or currency is ready to collect, so keep an eye on that!
How to leave the Serenitea Pot
To leave the Serenitea Pot in Genshin Impact and teleport bac to Teyvat, you need to open your world map and open the tabs menu. This will have an option for you to quick travel to all areas of Teyvat, including the Serenitea Pot. Click on the area you'd like to go to, and you'll be transported out of the teapot and back to reality.
There’s no one place within the teapot you need to go to leave, so don’t bother looking for a physical (or meta-physical?) doorway. Just open the map, tab back to Teyvat, and teleport somewhere.
What is the Serenitea Pot?
You may be confused as to what a Serenitea Pot actually is. Well, they’re a customisable world that you can access, that is your own and no one else's. You can invite other players, though. Essentially, the teapot is your own home and allows you to decorate it how you wish.
You can build and place furniture, plant harvestable items, and invite characters to your domain to spice it up. There’s a teapot spirit named Tubby to answer your questions and sell you exclusive items. There’s also a travelling salesman now and again.
To get your own teapot, you need to be at least Adventure Rank 28, and have completed the Archon Quest 'Chapter I Act III: A New Star Approaches'. After this, you'll have a new quest unlocked called "A Teapot To Call Home". This quest introduces us to Yanfei, and gets our teapot!
