Genshin Impact Collei materials

Genshin Impact Collei materials
August 24, 2022: Collei is now available in Tighnari and Zhongli's banners!

Let's see which Collei materials we'll need to gather up in record time to get her to level 90, boost up her talents, and get her ready for the fight. Dendro Vision-holding, bow-using, four-Star Collei is coming soon to Genshin Impact. Bringing a new character up to the level of the rest of your team is a time-consuming process, but making an early start can help.

While we can't prepare too much for her or Tighnari as a lot of materials are Sumeru specific, here's what we know about which Collei materials we'll need on the big day, and where you should be able to find them on your great Teyvat travel itinerary before then.

While we wait for the big Genshin Impact 3.0 update, check out our Genshin Impact tier list, and Genshin Impact codes page for all the latest freebies. Here's what to expect in Sumeru, too, and what we might see in Version 3.1, which should arrive sooner than most of the updates that have come before it.

What materials do I need to level up Collei?

In order for you to build Collei up to the strongest level she can be, you'll need a substantial amount of Hero's Wit or Adventurer's Handbooks, and Mora. Other than that, there are a lot of character-specific materials that you'll need.

Ascension materials

Collei, like other Genshin characters, will have six levels of Ascension to get her up to level 90. Each of these has an increasing amount of materials that it needs. Here they are:

Ascension level
Materials
20
1 Nagadus Emerald Sliver, 3 Rukkhashava Mushroom, 3 Firm Arrowheads
40
3 Nagadus Emerald Fragment, 10 Rukkhashava Mushroom, 15 Firm Arrowheads, 2 Majestic Hooked Beak
50
6 Nagadus Emerald Fragment, 20 Rukkhashava Mushroom, 12 Sharp Arrowheads, 4 Majestic Hooked Beak
60
3 Nagadus Emerald Chunk, 30 Rukkhashava Mushroom, 18 Sharp Arrowheads, 8 Majestic Hooked Beak
70
6 Nagadus Emerald Chunk, 45 Rukkhashava Mushroom, 12 Weathered Arrowheads, 12 Majestic Hooked Beak
80
6 Nagadus Emerald Gemstone, 60 Rukkhashava Mushroom, 24 Weathered Arrowheads, 20 Majestic Hooked Beak

In total, we'll need the following to get Collei to Ascend to level 80:

  • Nagadus Emerald Sliver - one
  • Nagadus Emerald Fragment - nine
  • Nagadus Emerald Chunk - nine
  • Nagadus Emerald Gemstone - six
  • Majestic Hooked Beak - 46
  • Rukkhashava Mushroom - 186
  • Firm Arrowhead - 18
  • Sharp Arrowhead - 30
  • Weathered Arrowhead - 36
  • 2,092,400 Mora

Aside from Mora and Arrowheads, all of these materials are Sumeru-specific, so we'll need to wait and see where we can farm them.

What are Collei's Talent materials?

Every playable character in Genshin Impact has a set of talents pertaining to their attacks and abilities, which can and should be upgraded. Don't neglect these, as they can seriously buff healing, damage, and other stats.

To get Collei's talents to level ten, here's what you'll need:

Material
Amount Needed
Tears of the Calamitous God
18
Firm, Sharp, Weathered Arrowheads
18, 66, 93
Mora
4,957,500

On top of this, you'll need three Crowns of Insight, and nine 'Teachings of Praxis', 63 'Guide to Praxis', and 114 'Philosophies of Praxis'. It is likely that a new Domain will be added where these can be obtained.

Collei material farming locations

Here's where to get your hands on the items needed to level-up Collei and her talents. As for where to find some of the Sumeru items, it's based on leaks and assumptions, so we will confirm when Version 3.0 releases.

Nagadus Emerald

Ascension gems in Genshin Impact are dropped by weekly and normal bosses across Teyvat, the amount and type of which differs per gem. It is likely that new Sumeru bosses, such as the Jadeplume Terrorshroom, will drop Emerald pieces.

We may be able to purchase Emerald slivers from shops in the new towns, as we have been able to do with other types of Gems. You can also transform Gems into other variations at an alchemy bench, and craft them into larger pieces.

Majestic Hooked Beak

This is a new boss drop material, which comes from the Jadeplume Terrorshroom found in Sumeru. We'll likely get between 1-3 per fight, depending on the world level.

Rukkhashava Mushroom

Considered to be a crystallization of Rukkhadevata's legacy, these mushrooms grow plentifully on trees in Sumeru's rainforest. This likely means the Avidya Forest where Collei and Tighnari patrol.

Firm, Sharp, and Weathered Arrowheads

All three of these items are frequently dropped by Shooter Hilichurls of all types, the latter two being dropped by higher levelled Hilichurls. You can craft Firm and Sharp Arrowheads into Sharp and Weathered Arrowheads at an alchemy bench.

Tears of the Calamitous God

This item is one of the specific drops from the weekly boss fight in the 'End of the Oneiric Euthymia' Trounce Domain. It is against the Raiden Shogun's puppet form, Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto, and must be unlocked through the Raiden Shogun's second story quest.

Crowns Of Insight

The elusive Crowns are used to get Combat Talents from level 9 to the final level: 10.

You can get a handful by upgrading the Frostbearing Tree, Sacred Sakura, and Lumenstone Adjuvant, but they are also among the rewards in limited-time events.

Praxis tablets

These new talent level-up materials can be gained in a new Domain, found in the Sumeru region.

Of course, we'll update this with more concrete information when Collei finally arrives in the game. Before that, though, check out our list of the best free multiplayer games if you're looking for something new. Something that isn't on there just yet but is still worth trying, however, is Tower of Fantasy. And we have a Tower of Fantasy codes and matching ToF reroll page waiting.
