Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut Tops The UK Games Chart

Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut has immediately topped the UK boxed charts, as reported by Gi.Biz. Offering an upgrade to last year's action-adventure by Sucker Punch Productions, this re-release dropped on PS4 and PS5 to take No.1, with 91% of sales made on Sony's new-gen console.

Tailing it in second place was Insomniac Games' Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which saw a 105% increase that took it from No.10 to No.3. Similarly, another Insomniac game, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, had a 92% increase, going from No.12 to No.3, though we don't know how sales were split between PS4 and PS5 there.

Dethroning Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to push it back into 4th place, there's a very clear PS5 surge here, which we'd speculate suggests more console stock is slowly becoming available. However, it's worth noting that boxed charts don't reflect digital sales, so the full picture remains unclear.
