How to Find the Hidden Ones’ Bureau in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Siege of Paris DLC

To find the Hidden Ones’ Bureau in the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Siege of Paris DLC, players first need to head to Sigfred’s Longhouse, the giant building at the top of the steps in Melun. On one of the feasting tables is a letter - read it and you’ll see the Assassin’s symbol at the top.

The letter refers to a Hidden Ones (or Assassin’s) having a Bureau in Lutetia, the name of the city that predated Paris. From there, the quest will lead you to the Roman ruins in the Southern half of Paris. Head to the area marked and look for a section of ground covered by breakable wood. Smash through it and drop down to find a door. Interact with it to have Eivor use their Hidden Blade to open it, revealing the first section of the Bureau.

However, it’s not the whole thing. Inside is a corpse and another locked door that requires three keys to open. Read the letter next to the corpse to progress the quest to the next section - where to find the three keys that open the next part of the Bureau base.

Hidden Ones’ Bureau Keys Locations

There are three keys to find, each one at an entirely different location in Francia. They’ll be marked on your map by the quest, at three different sets of Ruins spread around the map. We've marked their locations below, as well as what to do when you get there.

Champlieu Ruins

Head down another wood-covered hole in the corner where two sections of wall meet. Below will be a Hidden Blade door and numerous rats behind it. Use your weapon attacks to drive them into the vents and grates and progress to the end until you find a table with a key lying on it.

Diodurum Ruins

There’s another breakable entrance at the surface of Diodurum, but it’s a decoy. Instead, head to the East side where there’s a little cliff with a pool down below. Dive into it and look back at the ruins to see a stone archway that leads inside. Once through, it’s basically a straight path of swimming and diving tunnels until you reach the key.

Gisacum Ruins

This final one is a guarded location with numerous French soldiers. Head down to the deepest area past them to see an excavated hole in the ground. Head down to find more rats, but drive them off to make your way through to the final key.

Lutetia Hidden Ones’ Bureau Puzzle

Once you have all three keys, head back to the Hidden Ones’ Bureau and interact with the locked door to finally open it. Inside will be a huge open room. On the right wall is an obstructed doorway that needs blowing up. Climb to the higher area with rats on the far wall and scare them into the grate, then grab an explosive pot and carry it counter-clockwise around the edge to find a safe way to clamber down. Blow up the wall to enter a room full of snakes, at the centre of which is your reward.

The specific reward is a new one-handed Shortsword called the Joyeuse, already fully-forged and partially upgraded. It’s a moderately fast weapon that gains a temporary poison effect when you land five Heavy Attacks in a row. It’s good in combat against bigger, tougher enemies, rewarding forceful attacks with slow health drain.
