Genshin Impact will see a return of the Overflowing Mastery Event this month, where players can get double rewards from the Talent Domains - this time with Inazuma’s Violet Court added in.
This event is a great chance for players to scoop up a lot of talent books and XP. Any rewards are doubled from 22 - 29 May. The Overflowing Mastery event ran before during March, so it may come back in the future too. The aim is to complete the Talent Level-Up Material Domains - like Violet Court - and claim the rewards using Original Resin to double what they’ve earned. The talent books are used with ascension materials, or to level up party members’ talents, so this opportunity should not be missed.

Overflowing Mastery Event Dates
The Overflowing Mastery Event will start on May 22, 2022, and run through to May, 29, giving players a week to farm as much as they can.
How to Unlock the Overflowing Mastery Event
The Overflowing Mastery event doesn’t need unlocking as such; it requires that you have access to the Abyssal Domains - Taishan Mansion in Liyue, Forsaken Rift in Monstadt, and Violet Court in Inazuma. When there, the ‘x2’ multiplier will be visible.
How to Play the Overflowing Mastery Event
To get involved with the extra expertise, head to one of the Talent Domains in Monstadt, Liyue, or Inazuma. The best choice will be the highest level, as there’ll be bigger rewards. The drops can be claimed by using Original Resin, and this process can be done three times each day. Note that you can’t use Condensed Resin for this.
By the way, if you have the Reunion Blessing bonus currently active, then that will be used first, not the event bonus.
Overflowing Mastery Event Rewards
Each area has the same types of rewards during this event. The three locations are Forsaken Rift, Taishan Mansion, and Violet Court. The rewards are three Teachings books, three Guides, and three Philosophies. There will be one of each related to a subject. Also, any related XP, such as Companionship EXP and Adventure EXP, is also doubled.
