Version 2.8 of Genshin Impact is underway, and players can now get Fischl in Summertime Odyssey, as part of the Summer Fantasia celebration. This page will show you how!
Players now have another chance to get Fischl, Prinzessin der Verurteilung, for free after she appeared in the Unreconciled Stars event in 2020. We highly recommend her as a character to use in Genshin, due to her fantastic power and versatility as an Electro and Bow user. Plus, she has Oz - her familiar - who swoops in to join the battles.
Now you're up to date with the new event, check out what's coming in Version 3.0 which brings Sumeru, and characters such as Collei, Tighnari, and Dori. There's the banner schedule too, to keep track of who to pull for.
How To Get Fischl In Summertime Odyssey Event in Genshin Impact
The currency featured in this event is Iridescent Flotsam, similar to last summer's Shiny Flotsam in the Midsummer Island Adventure. You'll get extra rewards for how much you obtain, too, like Primogems and XP materials.
You can get Iridescent Flotsam by playing the Surfpiercer and Phantom Realms minigames, specifically the challenges in the Phantom Realms. Even doing these events once should net you plenty of Flotsam.
Fischl will be available to 'invite' from the Event Shop, and will cost 2,400 Iridescent Flotsam. Play some of the events, then go shopping and purchase her. Easy as that! You now have a free - at least in terms of real-life money - Fischl and Oz!

What Is The Summertime Odyssey Event?
Summertime Odyssey takes players back to the new and improved Golden Apple Archipelago, where a few different activities await them. Sail the seas in the Waverider, beat up Hilichurls, and hunt for some conches to unravel what's going on in this beach paradise.

Event Duration
The Summertime Odyssey event will run from July 15, 2022, to around August 24, the end of the Version 2.8 update.
Event Eligibility
There are a few requirements for you to be eligible to play the event, and get Fischl for free. For starters, you need to be Adventure Rank 32 or higher.
Then, you need to make sure you have completed Archon Quest Chapter II: Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves. This quest is just before the Traveler gets to Inazuma, and introduces Kaedehara Kazuha.
Another quest you need to have completed is Mona's story quest: Astrolabos Chapter, Act I - Beyond This World's Stars. To unlock this quest, players will need to be Adventure Rank 38, which is odd given that the Summertime event requires only level 32. Mona's story quest will also need to be unlocked with a Story Key.
