While some GTA Online players are already looking forward to GTA 6’s eventual arrival, there’s still plenty of time for you to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer in the interim.

Though, to do so, you might need to grind up a little more cash by doing some daring heists or dangerous sales missions in order to boost your in-game bottom line.

If this is your goal, here are a few little tips and tricks that might make your life in GTA a little easier, courtesy of the game’s hardened veterans.

Do you use any of these features regularly?

These tidbits are the subject of a recent thread in the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from user TheBoxShark, who asked: “What’s a feature that most players probably don’t know about?”

The response to their inquiry saw a host players offer obscure features that might prove useful in high-pressure scenarios in which the police are present, with user Hyd_xx pointing out: “If you change (your) mask while wanted, you can lose yourself a star” and I-Have-No-Lungs saying: “If you hide in a bush big enough to cover your character, cops won’t see you. Unless they get real close.”

Others offered ways to acquire guns and cars more easily if you’re caught without GTA’s two most prized possessions, with user globefish23 revealing: “There (have been) free weapon pick-ups in GTA Online since 2015. 19 weapons can randomly spawn per session in 200 fixed locations.” and Pwaannss saying: “You can save a few seconds stealing a parked car just by shooting the windows.”

On the other hand, user sonido_lover shared a good time-saver for busy CEOs, suggesting: “Call your assistant for (a) luxury helicopter to teleport you to your office, cargo warehouse or vehicle warehouse from anywhere on the map.”

Meanwhile, a couple of players highlighted little-known ways of having a bit of fun, with user Potential_Ad_8591 saying: “You can melee attack when on a bike and it does some real damage” and globefish23 returning to announce: “You can wheelie the BF Weevil.”
