Operation: Sky Fire was executed successfully by Dr. Slone to mark the end of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7. The live event ended with a "To be continued in Season 8" message which was then replaced by a timer. Based on the official timer, it is expected that Fortnite Season 8 will begin roughly about 12 hours after the in-game live event ended.
