When Does Fortnite Season 8 Go Live?

Fortnite Chatper 2 Season 7 is off to a wonderful start. The community has responded pretty well to the alien theme.

The Batman x Fortnite comics have also given us a nice insight into the storyline. It's also given us an idea of how the storyline will progress in the future.

Despite all these interesting twists and turns, fans have already started asking about the Fortnite Season 8 release date.

When does Fortnite Season 8 go live?

The current battle pass in Fortnite is set to run till September 12th. That means Fortnite Season 8 is all set to go live from September 13th.

While the date seems to be confirmed, there's a chance that Epic Games might extend the current season if they see fit. They don't do it often, but they've done so in the past.

So there's a chance that Fortnite Season 7 might get extended as well.

Fortnite Season 8 Storyline

We can't really comment on the storyline for now. The new season will probably deal with the aftermath of the alien invasion.

However, there's also a chance that the alien theme may continue into the next season as well. This hasn't been done before, but that doesn't mean it can't happen.

Fortnite Season 8 Battle Pass

The battle stars made a return to Fortnite during the current season. So there's a chance that the system would stick around for another season at least.

Based upon the recent leaks that we've seen, Naruto will probably be a part of the Fortnite Season 8 battle pass.

But then again, given that the mechanic is counter productive, Epic Games might go back to their old battle pass mechanic.

When it comes to the theme of the battle pass, it's be in line with the storyline that Fortnite Season 8 decides to follow. So we'll have to wait till the end of Season 7 to make appropriate guesses about the battle pass.
