Fortnite's Tactical Shotgun and Infantry Rifle

Epic's post included the above image with the text "we reintroduced tac shotguns and infantry rifles!" as part of a news feed with Fortnite fixes and updates.

With the introduction of Primal Weapons in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 6, many previous weapons were vaulted, included the Tac and Sniper Rifles.

The post was quickly deleted, but with the latest hotfix, it seems the two guns are, in fact, back in the game.

The introduction of Primal Weapons has been met with mixed reactions from players, especially those who have been playing Fortnite since Chapter 1.

Many players were upset by the Tacs vaulting, and are sure to be excited about the return of such a powerful weapon.

Where to Find Fortnite Tactical Shotgun and Infantry Rifle?

It is not hard to find the Tactical Shotgun and Infantry Rifle on Apollo Island.

They will spawn randomly around the island on the ground, in chests, and through NPCs in varying rarities.

Fortnite players can upgrade each to a higher rarity through various NPCs around the island.

There are now three different types of Shotguns and three different types of Assault Rifles in Fortnite.

Each has its own pros and cons, giving players variety in how they play their game, but it seems like these new weapons only clutter the weapon pool more than it already is.

With the rerelease of the Tactical Shotgun and Infantry Rifle, it will be interesting to see where the meta will go from here.
