Fortnite Chapter 3 has been the topic of discussion for the entire community off late. A major part of the community believes that the current season will be the final one in the chapter. On the other hand, another part of the community believes that there will be at least another season before we move into the next chapter.
This back and forth has been going on for a long time right now. However, there is some really strong evidence that suggests Fortnite Season 8 will be the final season in this chapter.
Could Fortnite Chapter 3 be on the cards sooner than we know?
First of all, several content creators have been saying, "Catch you on the flipside" in their recent videos. This one statement alone could mean a lot of things.
Out of all the plausible meanings that the statement could have, one possibility sticks out like a sore thumb. Flipside in Fortnite usually refers the the IO Bridges that the IO uses to travel between realities.
This also fits because players could use this bridge in order to escape to a different reality while the Cube Queen destroys this one completely.
If something like that were to happen, there's a chance that we'd be seeing a brand new map and a brand new chapter completely.
However this isn't everything. One enthusiastic individual from the community ended up mailing Epic Games Support about the start date of the current season. The reply they received, indicated that the current Fortnite chapter would be here till December 5th.
Now, several individuals including popular Fortnite data miner iFireMonkey pointed out that the Support team and the Development team were two different entities altogether.
The Epic Games Support Team has ended up handing out incorrect information in the past, so there's a high chance that they could be wrong this time too.
It's hard to believe that there won't be another season after this but then again, if we see the pattern of the leaks, Fortnite Chapter 3 could be right around the corner!
