It is looking very likely that next season will NOT be Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 9, but instead Chapter 3, Season 1. While this has not been confirmed, if it is the case then fans can expect the Season 8 live event to be a pretty grande finale to an excellent Chapter.
When Does Fortnite Season 8 End?
Fortnite Season 8 is scheduled to end on December 4th at 4 p.m. EST, according to Epic Games and the timing of the Chapter 2 Finale. However, Epic Games is no stranger to extending a season.
So there's a very small chance that Fortnite Season 8 might get extended. There's no guarantee that it will happen, but it's a chance nevertheless.
The servers for the game will go down once the live event has ended. And once they're back up, we'll be ushered into Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1.
There's still some time for the current season to end, so let's just brace ourselves and face the wrath of the Cube Queen.
