How To Get The Alkonost Mount In FFXIV

The FFXIV Alkonost mount is here, but like the 6.1 patch’s other new mounts, you’ll have to work to get it. Alkonost mounts require a unique currency you can only gain through completing some of Endwalker’s endgame activities, and it takes quite a bit of time to get what you need.

How To Get The Alkonost Mount In FFXIV

You can buy the Alkonost Whistle from Nesvaaz in Radz-At-Han, but it costs you three Resplendent Feathers. We've outlined how to get Resplendent Feathers elsewhere, but here's a condensed version.

Resplendent Feathers have a chance of dropping during the dungeons you access from Kumbhiraskin Treasure Maps, though there's a catch. After finding all the marked locations on the map, you can only initiate a dungeon run once per day. You can still complete them with other party members, but you're subject to their loot rules.

How To Summon The Alkonost Mount

Summoning the Alkonost mount is the same as summoning any other mount. Head into your inventory to find the Alkonost Whistle, and then use it. After that, the mount icon will live in the mount section of the menu, and you can drag it onto your hotbar if you think you'll be summoning it frequently.
