Warzone Leak Showcases LAPA SMG in Action

Season 6 of Warzone is well underway and just like the start of every season of post-launch content, Raven Software has added a range of new weapons into the arsenal, spicing up the ever-changing metagame in Verdansk and Rebirth Island. While the Grav assault rifle and .410 Ironhide shotgun have appeared, one gun in particular has yet to make its debut.

The LAPA submachine gun will be one of the last weapons to arrive in Warzone before Call of Duty: Vanguard is integrated into the battle royale. Prior to its official launch, a leaker has managed to get their hands on the weapon early, showcasing its performance.

The leaked footage comes from YouTube user sebas789391, who somehow managed to get hold of the SMG before its official release. The short video reveals several pieces of information on the LAPA, including its magazine size and its recoil pattern.

Judging by the brief glimpse of gameplay, it appears that the visual recoil produced by the LAPA is at a minimum, certainly ideal for those that want to maintain high levels of accuracy in hectic close-quarters battles. The rate of fire also looks fast, meaning it could well slot into the meta as the next best close-range weapon to use.

When Does The LAPA SMG Come To Warzone?

The LAPA officially makes its debut as part of The Haunting Halloween event which gets underway on October 19th. The SMG is the reward for those that manage to complete all nine challenges in either Warzone or Black Ops Cold War.
