Season 2 of Vanguard has only just launched but players are already turning their attention towards the mid-season update.
In addition to the two brand-new maps and wealth of new Zombies content, the second half of Season 2 will contain plenty of content ranging from a new Operator to the arrival of the Ice Axe melee weapon.

Ahead of the mid-season update, players can preload the update to avoid any waiting. Preloading takes place throughout the day, eventually leading to the launch of the update at 4PM GMT.
March 21, 2022: Season 2 Reloaded Roadmap
Ahead of Season 2 Reloaded, Activision has unveiled the official roadmap for the mid-season update. Alongside the arrival of Gustavo and the Armaguerra 43, Alps is a brand-new map for the Arms Race game mode.

PlaystationSize reports that the next update for Vanguard has appeared on the PlayStation database. While nothing official has appeared, many are suggesting that it's the mid-season update and will go live early next week.
When Does Vanguard Season 2 Reloaded Start?
While nothing official has appeared, we already have an idea of when to expect the next major update to drop. The halfway point of Season 2 is March 23 and is the likely start date for Season 2 Reloaded.
Vanguard Season 2 Reloaded Update Preload
Ahead of the mid-season update, players can preload the update to avoid any waiting. Preloading takes place on March 22 before players can install the update from 4PM GMT.
Vanguard Arms Race Mode
Within the Season 2 roadmap, Sledgehammer Games unveiled the brand-new Arms Race game mode. Rumoured to resemble the popular Ground War mode from previous titles, players can use vehicles ranging from "squad transport vehicles" to "tanks" in matches far bigger than standard multiplayer.
Vanguard Season 2.5 Guns and Weapons
As with most major Call of Duty updates, players can get their hands on new weaponry and Season 2.5 is no different. In addition to the KG M40 and the Whitley, the Armaguerra 43 is the newest submachine gun arriving.
Alongside the new SMG, the Ice Axe will become the latest melee weapon to join the arsenal.
Vanguard Gustavo Operator
Joining the Vanguard Operator roster is Gustavo, the third and final member of Taskforce Yeti. Since Anna is available through the Battle Pass, Gustavo will appear in a standalone bundle just like Thomas.
